We ordered the beef fried kuey teow, fish noodles, and fried wantan.
Kuey teow We were satisfied with the wok hei and overall flavour. Pleasantly surprised to find a lot of beef inside too. The beef was very tender however, most of the beef slices were a bit gamy for our liking. Perhaps the supplier issue.
Fish noodles The soup is tasty but comparable with among the top fish noodle shops out there. The amount of ingredients in there was a lot as well and we love the fish used. It's got a very nice fishy taste, none of the bad fishy smell. Fried very well too, mildly crispy outside yet soft inside. The noodles were cooked perfectly as well. The yam was a nice touch as it was also very well made. We thought maybe can reduce the amount of the other ingredients and put in 1 more smaller fish slice?
Fried wantan It's good but nothing spectacular either. I thought instead of serving lingham chilli I would prefer kampung koh garlic chilli but that's just personal preference.
Service was very good but then again I was there at 145pm and the lunch crowd had dispersed already. Though, the staff there are very well spoken which is definitely of an upscale restaurant standard.
Price wise, I'd say it's a bit expensive but for the service, ambience, and quality of food, it's definitely worth it.
I believe hygiene there is top notch too as their washroom is also...

Lucky Bo Steakhouse is one of those places you walk into and immediately feel like you’re in for a great evening. The cozy vibe, combined with the stunning artwork on the walls, set the tone for a memorable dinner.
We started with the Seared Foie Gras (85GM), and wow—what a treat! For RM85, the portion was surprisingly generous. The foie gras was perfectly seared, with a crisp, golden crust and a rich, buttery interior that melted in the mouth. The sauce was equally amazing, with flavors that lingered beautifully, almost like the foie gras itself had infused it. It felt like pure indulgence.
For the main, we went with the Sher Rib Eye MB9, cooked medium well. I’ll admit, I was a bit nervous about ordering it medium well (sometimes that dries out the steak), but Lucky Bo nailed it. The rib eye was tender, juicy, and full of flavor—absolutely delightful with every bite.
What made the experience even better was the artwork around the restaurant. The paintings and décor gave the place so much character, and it was nice to sit there and soak it all in while enjoying such a delicious meal.
If you’re looking for somewhere special with fantastic food and a cozy, creative atmosphere, Lucky Bo should definitely be...
Read moreHad the wagyu ribeye marble 7 and fish head noodles (yee tau mai fun) today. The steak was well seasoned, juicy, fatty and caramelized with a nice crust. The price is reasonable for the portion. If I remember correctly, a nearby steakhouse charges more for a similar quality. 20% off at lunch time also, so it was a good deal.
The yee tau mai fun was superb, way better than expected. The was no Chinese cooking wine or sambal belacan like elsewhere, but the flavor was perfectly balanced. I was glad they used garoupa and it was meaty, freshly fried, juicy and beautifully seasoned. Couldn't get enough of it. The broth was full of flavor and it brings together the whole dish very well.
I'm glad to have discovered this place and rest assured we'd be returning to try what else they have to offer. The service staff were friendly and attentive. They paid extra attention to our baby's needs as well.
If hard pressed for something they can improve on, I'd say the food was a little too salty. They'd be better with 25% less salt. But that was just me...
