AVOID THIS PLACE.
It was a decent experience... until we got the bill and realized our orders were the wrong size.
There was 3 ladies in our group. We ordered 3 pastas and requested for the small as we have small appetites and weren't feeling too hungry. Server asked if we were sharing, we said yes because we wanted to try each others' food.
When the food came, we were surprised that it was such a big portion for the small. It was our first time here so we didn't know what to expect. We had trouble finishing the portions. The good Asian kid in us forced ourselves to eat and when we just couldn't anymore, we finished all the seafood / meat and left the pasta to avoid wasting food.
When the bill came, we asked why we were charged for the larger size and found out that the order was wrong. People (including ourselves) make mistakes and misunderstandings happen- we completely understand. We eventually got our bill rectified (so kudos on that).
What made our blood boil was that the server was mumbling loudly at the other side of the restaurant about how we wouldn't have ordered small to share. Worse still, he was mumbling (in Cantonese) "IF YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY THEN DON'T EAT HERE".
Are you serious??? We do NOT appreciate being INSULTED. Food is mediocre and with servers like that? There's really NO reason why you should visit this restaurant.
Opus, I really wanted to like you but no, never again.
[Edit] P.S. I came across Opus again and am still bitter so I checked them out online. I realised they disallowed and removed the review section from their Facebook page after I posted the above there (this was a while back). I'm pretty sure they saw this review but tried to hide it instead of owning up to it and apologizing....

It was not crowded as it is a weekday night. We served complimentary olive oil with minced olives and lightly toasted bruschetta. It was delicious. The drinks we ordered Sangria from the next door Cava (Spanish) restaurant.
AMBIANCE: Excellent for relaxing, socialising and for long conversations. Cooling and outstanding environment, there's an indoor dining area and a small outdoor dining area. STAFF: Very attentive and makes sure that all of our needs are met. RECOMMENDED TO TRY: Chicken roulade, smoked duck linguine, prawn or crab linguine, squid ink risotto and lamb shank. The chicken roulade was absolutely fantastic, the chicken meat was tender accompanied with mozzarella mushrooms laced with an outstanding porcini mushroom sauce. It was really good. The lamb shank is one of their star dish. The pastas are absolutely perfect al dente. The lobster dishes are worth it also, but super expensive. The wines here are outstanding as well. PRICING: Moderately expensive, but worth the...
Read moreVisited in Jan23 during dinner hour. Reached before 6pm & kitchen is not ready yet but they do allow you taking a seat & order. Kitchen will be ready by 6pm. Service is good . Staffs are very attentive & friendly. Ordered Squid ink risotto with mix seafood. They are generous in giving Parmesan cheese powder but this doesn’t help to make the risotto creamy & cheesy. I would say the risotto is just moderately, not flavorful enough. Mozzarella stuffed Arancini is deep fried risotto rice balls with mozzarella stuffed. Mozzarella not given enough & doenst give a cheesy flavor although the deep fried rice balls is crispy but the taste still lacking. For braised lamb shank with tomato gravy doesnt really matching to my liking. Mashed potatoes as side dish is creamy but honestly tomato gravy is the drawback. Compliments were giving for the services. I would suggest them to make some dish with more creamy &...
