RUN TO THIS PLACE RIGHT NOW!!!

Impeccable service, the staff are very attentive - they will change your grill plate and you won’t notice it. Massively underrated gem here. I hear it’s busier at dinner so it might be different (we came at lunch and it was empty). The wagyu set is amazing, it melts in your mouth. The only time I’ve ever had wagyu this good was in Japan so I’m very happy to have found a place that could replicate the flavours I had in Japan. 10/10 would come back again!

Note: The boss isn’t that well-versed with social media (they’ve been around for some years but only had social media presence since November 2024). Please help them by creating reviews on Google Maps or posting on social media and tagging them @nikuniku_hartamas...

Was probably the only non-bbq eater at this restaurant.

Food service is very very very slow.

Entered the shop at 7.10pm and was seated to order.

Ordered: Salmon fried rice -8.07pm Very ordinary and plain tasting. Not recommended. Okonomiyaki fries - 1st dish to arrive only at 7.47pm. 35+ minutes to wait for fries. Starchy. Not recommended. Saba fish - 7.54pm. Tasted like saba. Ok. Bibimbap - 7.50pm. Tasted quite alright actually. Recommended. Hot green tea - No bell on table to get attention for refill.

Don't think I'll be returning if the speed of service stays this slow.

This place can't cope with only 5 tables of approx 3-4...

Had a wonderful lunch here! The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. I was pleased with the service — they were quick to respond when I mentioned that the grill was loose. Without hesitation, they swapped it out for a better-fitting one, which made grilling much easier. The meat was fresh, decent portion and just having grilled meat with a lil’ rice tasted sooo goood.
