Used to be their regular but just found other places better then them especially service. Roti canai, can get complete set of kari, dhal & sambal in morning (used to be my fav) but evening might get only dhal. Came on 15th of September 2023 ( a day before public holiday), all mamak restaurant are full house and managed to get one parking spot nearby here, decided to come that day. We (all girls) went upstairs since downstairs are fully occupied by mostly men. Ring the bell once, nobody come. Saw someone came but not to our table, just to pick up the dirty plates next table. Thus, we rang it again for him to notice us. Suddely one guy come to take the order and rudely said "dekat bawah ada kosong, kenapa duduk atas, tekan satu kali saja, saya mau naik lagi susah, you duduk bawah saja la". Well, if you dont want to come upstairs, why dont you just close the upstairs section? Its okay, maybe downstairs busy so we just let it slide. However, when we done, went downstairs to pay, saw him just sitting at the chair chit chatting with his colleague. Well, I'm disappointed. Maybe lost one customer wont bring any damage to them. Thank you Jasima for the childhood memories, won't come...
Read moreHonest to god. This place is the most legendary mamak shop you will ever eat at. With one of the best services you'll ever receive at at mamak.
This place is literally the best because the food that you receive from this place is really delicious. Without a doubt, this place could earn a Michelin star from its sauces.
A must try when you go there is their masala thosay. You have to be there early in order to try it because it really runs out fast.
Another one is their Roti Bom. Don't ask me what it is. Just order it and you'll ask yourself. What have I been eating all this time and why haven't you dropped your wife to marry the Roti Bom yet. Yes it's really good.
So my verdict of this place is that it's really really spectacular. Without a doubt the best Indian restaurant in the world for me
Update after 2 years of not coming here: Still the best place to eat if you want a...
Read moreThis is the place I go to whenever I can't think of anywhere else when I'm hungry late at night. It's convenient, open 24/7, just a couple of minutes drive from home.
Their Malay/Thai a la carte food is considerably cheap for TTDI standard and does the job which is to satisfy my hunger.
Their mamak food is just okay. Tandoori chicken is overcooked most of the time so let them know to not overcook it. They have recently open a fully air-conditioning dining section at ground floor, so that's a big plus point to a non-smoker like myself.
Additional note: One reviewer named Saadon Salaman mentioned in his review that the owner of the restaurant isn't a Muslim. I would like to rectify his statement. The owner is in fact a Muslim unless there is a new owner that I'm...
