Been here many times for their great foods at affordable price. The environment is slightly warm but still airy. Workers are attentive so far and they took my order not long after I sat down.

Recommended:

  1. Curry mee- tasty, spicy and generous portion
  2. Chicken noodle- tender chicken slices with proper taste of chicken meat.
  3. Handmade fish ball noodle
  4. Toast bread- lack of crunchiness
  5. White kopi
  6. wanton mee- Bbq pork lack of tenderness

This place is ideal for food hunters but not pleasant for people looking for a cozy & relaxing atmosphere. The washroom area is still not very pleasant although this restaurant has undergone some renovations which makes it brighter and more well-ventilated but lost the antique feel from the traditional decorations of old time.

Service quality is at stake when some of the orders have been missed and messed up several times and some food quality has dropped over the years.

Hopefully the shop owner will upkeep the food quality to ensure more...

First of all ignore the 3.8 average ratings, it doesn't do justice for this shop. I've tried many kopitiam of such around here, for me this is one of the better ones in KD area.

Even older gen picky eaters alike my mom approves that the food here pretty good.

Coffee here is definitely on point, toasted bread is really crispy and generous with spreads inside, most of the noodles like ipoh hor fun, prawn mee and curry mee taste deliciously flavourful.

Nasi lemak fans you can try theirs too, portion is generous and sambal isn't too sweet or too spicy just nice for me.

Besides, they also have an assortment of pastries such as siew bao, egg tart, chan pao, kaya kok and coconut tarts, these are all available here.

Do give this place a try, for the food portion and price its quite a...

Coffee is good, that's it. Service is lousy, staff have 0 manner and not professional. Took wrong order and never feel sorry about it.

Portion sucks, I ordered Hakka Mee with Fried Pork. The pork they serve one bite I can take it all while the illustration is like covered one 1/3 of the bowl. I ordered Curry Mee, no noodle wanna replace with more taugeh. It came with no meat just vege with no extra taugeh. I ask them where's the meat, they start pointing the issue on each other of the staff instead of instantly change for me. The portion 3 minutes I can finish. Not sure if they originally got siham or not, but I don't get any.

Every time they served food they just "bam" put it on your table, really no manners.

Disappointing...

A below average experience. Most of the items we ordered were below average. Curry Noodles wasn't good enough. The broth was diluted although they tried to spice it up with chili, lemongrass, etc. Not actually our type of curry. We prefer ours to be richer and creamier without compromising on curry powder, lemongrass, etc. The broth for Chicken Noodles was not fresh enough, it was a little stale. Could hardly finished this item. Fish Ball noodles was good enough. Toasted bread with Kaya and Butter was good enough. Butter didn't melt though. Suspected it to be a blend of Dairy Fats and Hydrogenated Fats. Iced Coffee wasn't good enough. I ordered with reduced sweetness, could taste a strong bitterness. Fruit juices were fine.

Pakkopi Kaw used to be my go-to for the past 2 years because it's so near my place. Their chicken rice, was excellent. The soup that accompanies it - beautiful. Soup literally tasted so homemade. I usually have 2 bowls because 1 is just not enough. But recently, they changed the menu and NO CHICKEN RICE. 😭😭😭😭 I can only dream about the chicken rice now. So I ordered their taiwanese nasi lemak and it was so disappointing. The Taiwan sausage was so tough felt like I was eating beef jerky 🤣. And the new menu has less noodle options as well. In conclusion, no steam chicken, roast chicken, and Siew yok. However, on the bright side, their Cham peng is still good and thank God they didn't remove the roti bakar from new menu.
