Not your typical pork noodle store that does online ads after each session of Candy Crush.
Food rating : 4/5
Menu is simple straightforward, not much fuss as it's really easy to understand and order by the counter. Even if you're facing difficulty, the counter staff is helpful to assist.
We ordered 3 bowls of Pork Noodles (comprising yellow noodles, meehoon, kuey teow) at Small portion. 2 bowls were upgraded to Set to enjoy their huge variety of bottomless drinks.
Starting with the food, for Small portion it's considered rather filling and the serving of pork meat is very generous. We opted for no intestine, but other parts and pieces are rather good. Most importantly the noodles were served really hot, which is really important to enjoy the flavour. No heavy pork taste compared to many others, thus might not suit those who are looking for a heavy taste.
Moving on to the drinks variety, I guess you can consider coming with an empty stomach and bladder to drink to your heart's content! With more than 20 choices available, you will have a hard time sticking to one! We tried few of their tea bag flavours, fruit tea and honey plum, which were all really good and not sweet. Definitely better than your usual soft drinks and bland chinese tea.
Overall the add-on to bottomless drinks might not be the cheapest (RM4.99 if you ordered food, RM 7.99 if you separately order), but definitely value for money.
Note that space is highly limited, queuing is mandatory during...
Read more1st time trying this Omega Pork Noodle. First impressions is ok.
Food Quality: Pork noodle taste good, soup is good. Portion is good for a small bowl very fulfilling. Minced pork and pork slice is a bit too big, cut into bite size would be good. Proportioning a bit imbalance, my bowl has less noodle than my friend's bowl. Add RM3.5 to get free flow refill of drink, soft drink, tea etc
Service: First timer is confuse upon entering because this is a self order at counter. Customer entered, sat down but turn out table was taken earlier as other customer came sat down then went to order at counter. Probably put up a signboard explaining the process of ordering would be good. Using an ordering kiosk is better too or provide number for those in queue. Ordering counter flow is a bit off, customer don't know need to take small bite (小吃)1st then only go to order counter checkout. So have to go back to take. Waitress at entrance explaining or arranging seating would be good. Saw some customer came in confused and just leave. Providing some chair for those ordered take away to sit would be good too.
Price: is decent for the food quality, environment and service.
Overall, good food for the price but much more room for...
Read moreMy main issue is the employee's attitude. Last time I came here, I asked them whether they can refill the sambal chili for me or not then they just reply NO then walk away with sour face. What's with this attitude???? I even ask nicely.I pay service tax to eat here. This is what I get for service? Okay, that's not the only issue I face. I know the restaurant is always crowded. After arriving here, I ask the employee whether inside got table for my family or not. Then they say yes there are table so I went in, sit down, sanitize the chairs and table. And there comes a chinese male employee, without any apologies, HE says there are customers waiting before us so we have to get out because they already waited for 30 minutes. So do you think I insist to cut line? I came in because your employee told me to. Then HE replies that the employee that let us come in is a newbie, he doesn't know the rules. Why you can't tell us nicely instead of using a rude attitude like you want to chase us out or...
