Waited for almost 40 minutes and sat at the sofa waiting for my turn while waiting for the barber to finish with his client. Then came another barber around 1.20pm to work. Expecting an acknowledgement either walk in customer or pre booked session. Ignored, never mind i assume he’s not the barber. After that, came in a tourist, the same barber that just came to work greeted the guy & straight away have his haircut. Im not sure if local customer is not worth it or they prioritise foreigners. Maybe my money is not good as other “Mat Salleh” moneys. Not worth walking from lrt station kampung baru just because i read good reviews about this place. Thanks for a great service.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Just to clarify: there was no actual conversation between me and your staff. No “tunggu jap abg,” no explanation—just a nod and a smile. So your version of the story is new to me.
I completely understand the need for appointments and respect that walk-ins may need to wait. What I didn’t appreciate was being ignored without so much as a “we’re full” or “please wait.” That’s basic courtesy—not just “modern times,” but timeless professionalism.
Anyway, I appreciate the interesting explanation. I hope this helps you reflect on the customer experience a little more...

Asked for a fade, but instead, I came out with something that really isn't a fade and more like a line was drawn around my head with clippers. The back line is uneven too.
It's all a bit of a mess, to be honest and as if the barber (even if "hair butcher" would be a better job title) had no idea what he was doing half the time. Distracted, looking around, chatting with his colleague instead of focusing on the task.
If you have a beard, and you like it, don't let them touch it as the "trim" is wonky, and they didn't bother to trim the moustache at all.
If I could give 0 stars I would. If I could go back in time, I would never have stepped foot in this place. At this point, it's a case of going for a number 1 crew cut all over to be honest and waiting for it to regrow. Save yourself from having to...
Read moreThis Ace Studios, am telling U, is definitely a highly-rated barber salon in Kuala Lumpur that stands out for its exceptional quality and reputation. Their skilled stylists are masters of modern and trendy haircuts, and I'm particularly fond of their fade cuts – there's something for everyone.
To avoid waiting, I recommend booking an appointment through their FRESHA app. I splurged a bit to get a haircut from the director himself, and it was worth every ringgit. What sets Ace Studios apart is the personal touch – the director is more than just a talented barber; he's like a friend who genuinely cares about his clients. True to himself and his craft, he creates experiences, not just haircuts. Highly recommended!" If you're in KL, put Ace Studios on your to do list for a...
