Starbucks — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

A convenient drive thru since it's by the main road and I'm not sure if it's open 24 hours but whenever I went for an early drive thru at 6 in the morning, it's already open compared to the rest within the vicinity. Drive thru is convenient, many parking bays but limited due to the space, but lights needed to be lighten up especially at the back, very dangerous especially for solo visitors especially women. My major concern is the exit where there are 2 units I believe by TNB that block driver's view when exiting as we need to exit carefully, if not being hit by fast moving vehicles especially the reckless motorcyclist whom we know ride fast and don't know how to slow down or stop. The big tree there should be left as part of preserving environment and green lungs of KL..TNB should do something and remove them to better location for better visibility of drivers exiting the premise. But I guess being Malaysian, we always wait for something to happen then we react and authorities finally take note and act, instead of...

According this branch 2 stars for the convenience of its toilets and spacious dining area.

Nevertheless, Starbucks Malaysia has it coming for some time now. The cafe latte, or any drink with milk is bland, more replete with milk than coffee. Totally devoid of coffee. That’s why the barista will always ask you if you want an extra shot of expresso. How much are you paying for a latte btw? As for customer service for the Starbucks franchise of this country, the staff are either lowly paid (not true really) or simply lack good training. Most of the time, they are either rude or uninterested in your patronage.

What’s is the Starbucks mission statement? "With every cup, with every conversation, with every community – we nurture the limitless possibilities of human connection".

With the ongoing boycott and declining sales (for most joints in Malaysia?), the management should take heed of the staff performance and its food quality.

This is not my 1st time visited Starbucks Ampang DT. Me and my husband really had an amazing experience with the staff name Nizam. Nizam was incredibly friendly and above and beyond to make sure i had everything i need. He also suggest something that suit me and my husband taste since we're not from here. Every Starbucks have different beverages. He remembered exactly how I like my drink taste, and my order was ready quickly even during a busy time. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I left with a smile.

I've seen Nizam been friendly not only with us, he also had a conversation with other customers too while he busy cleaning the table.
