I was visiting KL from Sydney Australia with my partner on our birthdays. We ordered the vegetarian degustation and it was absolutely delicious!!!!

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, it was clear we were in for something special. The service was absolutely impeccable—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The owners were hands-on throughout the evening, showing a clear passion for what they do and an incredible attention to detail in both service and presentation.

The vegetarian degustation was creative, beautifully balanced, and packed with flavour in every course. Each dish was a thoughtful celebration of seasonal produce, and the kitchen’s craftsmanship really shone through. We were delighted with a few surprise additions—extra courses that weren’t on the menu—and generous cheeky top-ups of wine that kept the mood fun and relaxed without ever feeling overdone.

A culinary Tour de Force hidden away in the vibrant Bangsar district of Kuala Lumpur, the restaurant capturing the zeitgeist of the area. When I dine, I dine contemporary and with the fusion of local and European sensibilities and a doff of the cap to my old mistress the sea, Studio Restaurant certainly hits the mark. The Yuba tart with mussel and carrot hit my table first and immediately transported me to the balmy shores of Sardinia and childhood days spent diving without air for sumptuous mussels. Exquisitely washed down with a glass of 2019 Cote De Jura my mind started racing to what next could caress my already fragrant taste buds. The hits kept on coming, from the bold Seabass in Allium Butter to the rock melon ice cream. I've literally eaten at everywhere of note on this planet and can only offer the highest praise to the execution of this delightful and exuberant menu by the Studio Team. Reception: Warm and welcoming. The sleek, modern entrance felt personalized. Vicky and Jenifer made us comfortable the moment we arrived.
