The food and location are good, although the cookie I received wasnât fresh (visited on Saturday at 2:22 PM).
However, my main complaint is about the staff. Honestly, it feels like theyâre trying to bring down the reputation of this branch. They show zero passion for their work and do a very sloppy job preparing the sandwiches.
For example, all the ham was piled on one side, leaving a third of the sandwich almost empty. The same happened with the salad! one section was overloaded with jalapeños while the rest had none. On top of that, they used the wrong dressing, even though I repeated my order two times, and of coarse there was no apology.
Itâs not like they were busy either. Instead, they were laughing and talking loudly among themselves, as if they were in their own space, completely ignoring the presence of customers.
I really hope the manager looks into this, maybe even checks the CCTV footage. This is the only Subway in the area, and itâs a shame to see it...
   Read moreStaffs are quite unfriendly. The way they communicate to customers are rather disappointing and rude. I'm not sure what they've experienced beforehand, maybe rude customer(s) or having a bad day but all the other customers were treated rudely too as I continue to observe.
When it was my turn, one of the staffs asked me what vegetables would I like to have. While choosing (less than 5 seconds), I was just going through the 2nd ingredient that I'd like to have. Thought I'll do him a big favor by asking for all of the ingredients instead of choosing this and that and he said "cakap la awal-awal" (tell me beforehand). Plus, he was just chatting with another staff the whole time.

Today, on September 6, 2025 at 10:56 PM, I visited the Subway at Plaza Damas and was very disappointed with the service. At first, I was told that the heating machine was not working. Later, when I asked again, another staff member said it was actually the payment machine that was not working. This gave me the impression that the staff simply did not want to serve customers at that moment, as they told me I would have to wait â20 minutes.â
As a customer, I felt disrespected and discouraged from returning to this branch. I hope the management can look into this matter and ensure a more professional and transparent service in the future, as expected from the Subway...
