I have been eating and shopping here for ages. To my knowledge it has always been pet-friendly as long as you keep your pet in a covered stroller. Even the guards have come forward to pet my poodle many time. All this has changed now and I won’t be coming within 100m of this place. Just yesterday around 7pm, I was approached by a head guard in a non white uniform and told me rudely that pets are not allowed and told me to get out (my pet was in a stroller). I asked him nicely since when the policy has changed but he couldn’t understand neither my English or bahasa. So I approached another guard that I recognised in the past and asked him again and he said he doesn’t know. Look, I am not an unreasonable person and I do respect the rules of the Malls, but I don’t have to be rudely disrespected and treated like a criminal when rules changed overnight. To make things worst, my family brought me there to celebrate my birthday. We have to cancel the booking and get out immediately like war refugees. It was so embarrassing. I am disappointed and I am going to miss eating out at this place. To Pinnacle mall operator, hope you guys look into this situation as I know many pet lovers like me that frequents the mall will be utterly disgusted and chased away like criminals when they are ignorant of the policy change in your...
Read moreI normally visit Urban Market, the supermarket located on the lower ground floor once or twice a week. I drop by after work and prefer it to The Store due to its free covered car park. Usually when I arrive in the evening, parking space is still plenty but as I don’t find it well-lighted plus it is kinda quiet sometimes I like to park as near as possible to the walkalators.
Pricing at Urban Market is more expensive than average but the variety of fresh produce like vegetables and fruits is above average. They have a good selection of spices and other dried food produce which makes it a good one-stop option.
There was some kind of renovation going on the last time I was there and I nearly tripped over a landing that was concealed with poly tarp. It is a hazard to elderly and children who may not have noticed a drop in the floor level thinking it’s a ramp. So, I urge the management of Pinnacle Mall to ensure that proper signage are placed at the site to avoid any...
Read moreMy husband went to Hush Puppies at Pinnacle Sri Petaling. I don’t know if one of the sales assistants there was just born rude or what. My husband was looking for shoes and asked for his size. Since he’s a foreigner and not fluent in Malay yet, he spoke in English to the Chinese sales assistant working there. Maybe she didn’t understand English, but she kept repeating “no size, no size” with a constipated look on her face, then told my husband to go find somewhere else.
I overheard the whole thing because I was on the phone with him at that time. Honestly, it’s lucky I wasn’t there in person, otherwise that SA would have gotten an earful. When my husband came home, he told me now he understands why I often sound harsh when dealing with sales assistants who act like that… sometimes you need to give it back to them so they know how it feels when people treat you rudely...
