Went there for lunch after opening hours around 11am

We were craving for some roasted duck so we decided to eat here because we have been here a couple times before The hostess took us to our table and took our order We ordered from the individual super value set for rm26.88 (before 16% tax) : 2 sets of hong kong style roasted duck with basmati chicken rice

The food arrived quickly It was quite disappointing to say that the duck wasn't as fresh as the other times we've had The duck was a little dry and it has a little blood taste to it We assume it was a day old roasted duck from the day before as the restaurant just opened Other than that, the dessert, tea, steamed egg and seaweed soup with fish balls that came with the set was not bad

A little tip, you can ask for tissues instead of using the wet wipes they provided on the table as they will charge you for it (bring it to the counter while paying)

The only reason I gave the service a 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hostess was leaning on the wall with her arms crossed while standing infront of the restaurant most of the time when there was no passerby While we were deciding whether to enter the restaurant, she came forward, stood there and looked at us in a way that made me feel uncomfortable and pressured She rarely smiled too which made her less unfriendly...

The food was good, but it wasn’t a good dining experience. my friend and I arrived after 2:30pm for a late lunch, they led us to a table, we order the food, wait and eat. Everything was good, until around 3pm, in the middle of the meal, the person who looks like a manager bring the bill asking us to pay. He told us that the restaurant was going to close. I was thinking why nobody told us before we came in? we could go to another restaurant. But I thought we should still have time, so I paid and continue having our food. while we just finish our food, start drinking tea, the waiter came and collect everything except tea. after a while, the person kept staring at us with unpleasant expression, I felt very uncomfortable and asked him what time is going to close, he told me 3:30 (it was 3:25 at that time), so we left. I kelt like being kicked out by overstaying your welcome. The total dining time was around 50 mins, including the time waiting for the food. I suggest to the restaurant to let people know that they are going to close soon, so they can decide if they want a quick meal or go to another. If you charge the food as a decent restaurant, you better match it up with...

Have not tried the food, reviewing on the customer service of the establishment. I tasked my son to call the restaurant to ask if there are any tables available. Before my son could even speak the representative shouted at my son (SPEAK FASTER, SPEAK FASTER!) in Cantonese. It was on loud speaker so I took over the phone. I politely asked if the person could hear me and the representative just responded (SPEAK LAH!). I composed myself and asked if there’s table only again to be responded with a loud (NO,NO,NO, NO TABLE!). I hung up the phone with sheer disappointment. Situations like this happen for 2 reasons one being that your representative is rude and impatient, another being that the establishment is extremely short staffed causing its representatives to be under a lot of stress, hence lashing out at its customers, even potential ones. Whatever the reason is, there’s no reason for such treatment towards your customers and it’s just unwarranted. I don’t usually leave reviews for anything, but I need to stand up for my kid who got shouted for no apparent reason. Thank you and please be...

The Travelling Duck at Pavilion Bukit Jalil offers a pork-free dining experience specializing in London-style roast duck made from premium Irish Silver Hill ducks. These ducks are known for their rich flavor and tender texture, often served Peking-style with pancakes, sweet bean paste, and fresh vegetables 🍽️ Menu Highlights Roast Duck: The signature dish is praised for its crispy skin and juicy meat. However, some diners recommend opting for the lower quarter or half duck for a more satisfying portion, as the upper quarter may have less meat and be drier Wantan Mee: Their bamboo noodles are noted for their al dente texture and authentic Hong Kong-style preparation, making them a standout choice . Ma Bo Fried Basmati Rice: This dish offers a generous portion with flavorful basmati grains, though it may lack the traditional wok hei aroma . Deep-Fried Eggplant with Chicken Floss: A sweet and savory dish featuring a soft inner core of eggplant, considered a worthy addition to the meal.

Mediocre food taste with expensive price. Saw the long queue everytime passing by this restaurant, so we decide to check out what the fuss is about. Roast duck - taste bland, lacking the duck fragrant. Succulent? No way, still far from it. Others dishes taste average, nothing to shout about. In fact, after dining here, we cant understand why the long queue. For the same price, there are restaurants with much better taste, quality and dining experience. Service was okay, except the Manager (Chinese man) taking order could improve his attitude. After giving us the menu, he asked us what we want, so we mentioned that we needed a little time to see the menu as it was our first time dining. 4mins later, he came back asking the same question, we repeated ourselves and he stood there waiting, IMPATIENTLY. He only recommended their promotional soup of the day, nothing else. Warrant the next visit - NO

This place serves poultry - only chicken and duck with no pork or lard. We ordered half a London roast duck for dine in, and a quarter to take away. The roast duck meat was juicy but the marinade could have been better to bring out the taste of the duck meat. The 2 appetisers - the eggplant with meat floss and the fried meat cake were delicious. I enjoyed the hot and sour Szechuan soup. This place is popular and comfortable but the pricing is marginally higher than the popular Cantonese roast meat shops. Good service and polite staff despite being packed and busy.
