Atmosphere: 4.5 🌟
Really comfortable and spacious enough. Lunch hour is a good time to go as dinner can get pretty packed.
Food: Overall Shabu Buffet 3.75 🌟
Soups: Can choose up to 2 types (around 6-8 to choose from). Additionally, they have special soup that you can choose but need to pay extra and I think it's not cheap (20 ringgit or something). Personally, I'm finding Herbal and Tom Yum from the free one nice enough.
There are few packages (i to iii) and any of them can have Add On to Seafood i) Vegetarian - No Extra Meat Orders (cheapest) ii) Chicken and Pork Meat Orders iii) Mutton and Beef Meat Orders (most expensive) Add On: Seafood (Scallop, Fish, Prawn, Fish Paste) Orders (if you want this add-on, you have to pay extra on top of the above packages)
The difference between the 3 packages and add on (seafood) is just what type of meat you can order (unlimited). As long as you have any of the packages, you can enjoy the free flow self service counter bar area. Some highlights of food available in this area are as shared below.
Food (Self Service Counter Bars): Vegetables, Processed Food (meatballs, etc), Noodles 3 🌟
Pretty standard on any good steamboat restaurant but I do like the vegetable varieties and the place is kept clean and the food is cooled with ice cubes.
Food (Self Service Counter Bars): Oden 3.5 🌟
About 6-8 sticks types to choose from that are boiled in either clear or tom yum soup.
Food (Self Service Counter Bars): Chawanmushi 3.5 🌟
Food (Self Service Counter Bars): Curry Beef 3.25 🌟
Food (Self Service Counter Bars): Sushi and Maki 3 🌟
Food (Self Service Counter Bars): Ice Cream 1.5 🌟
Don't like it, it's not exactly the same as ice creams, more like frozen milkshake something
Note: They also have ala carte items that are more 'special' not included into packages that you...
Read moreThe food are not as good anymore. Quality of meat and some sauce at japanese section today has gone wrong even some guest commented out loud at the section. When booking please hire somebody who can speak English unless your restaurant is meant for Chinese speaking guests only? The worst part is the attitude of this cashier lady today on 20th may 2023 some blonde hair Chinese lady who was sort of showing disgusting and mocking attitude when I show the ic of my parents who are elderly and ic of birthday guest as they can claim discount. I asked her is it something wrong? Then she said no and pull a long face. While birthday person can enjoy throwing of dice she didn’t say others can’t throw on behalf, so we threw for him as he goes back to have dinner and when we get 50% she said she didn’t see it then we throw and get 10% and we ask can we retry our chance. Then only she advise to ask the birthday person needs to come to counter to throw if want to retry. Is ok we can pay the bill but don’t show this kind of mocking attitude and unfair attitude pleas. So super rude acting like lady boss. All other non Malaysians workers there are so much better than her. Moreover isn’t it a data privacy matter jotting down ppl ic details and phone number. We don’t consent of such info if you didn’t let us read and agree to terms and conditions. there are more steamboat and bbq all you can eat around this area. No more coming and definitely will pass this word of mouth to others. Thank you for the...
Read more5 diners with 2 stoves. Changed at least 3 stoves and 3 cans of gas because the fire kept going off.
3/4 soups never boil after 1 hour, soups were lukewarm throughout the 1hour until we requested for the lids for the pots hoping to expedite the boiling time. The staff brought 1 lid only and when requested for the 2nd lid for the 2nd pot, they informed that they only have 5 lids in the entire restaurant (and they probably need them in the kitchen), so we diners only can make do with 1 lid.
Meat weren’t exactly fresh and soups tasted mediocre.
Restrooms were in a horrendous situation where you couldn’t even flush. Toilet bowl was already filled with used tissues and it’s just piling up. Sinks and taps were in a disgusting state also.
There were these 2-leveled steps to walk up to the self-service food counter which honestly posed a high risk for tripping, especially when you’re holding a plate/cup filled with food and drinks. The steps were slightly wet as well.
Lastly, we paid a whopping RM288.85 for this kind of service and environment. Staffs were friendly and helpful but poor management. In my humble opinion, don’t bother visiting. Just go back to your usual hotpot buffet places and you would enjoy your meal better and worth your...
