Avoid Rockefeller’s Langkawi at All Costs – Gave My Family Severe Food Poisoning!
If you value your health, stay far away from Rockefeller’s in Langkawi. My family of four dined here, and within hours, three of us were violently ill with severe food poisoning. We had different meals—one had sea bass, another had chicken pakora, and the third only had their so-called “seasoned” Rockefeller’s fries. Yet all three ended up suffering through 24 hours of absolute hell—non-stop vomiting, diarrhea, and unbearable stomach cramps.
The fact that different dishes made us sick suggests a serious hygiene issue in their kitchen. Whether it’s improper food handling, contaminated ingredients, or unsanitary cooking conditions, something is clearly very wrong here.
I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Do yourself a favor and avoid Rockefeller’s Langkawi like the plague. There are plenty of other restaurants on the island—don’t risk your health by eating here.
The staff are also overbearing and hover around your table waiting for you to finish your drink/food so they can be pushy and ask what you’re having when you’ve barely swallowed your food/drink. Back off and let your customers call you over rather than...
Read moreIf you’re in Langkawi and looking for a fantastic dining experience, Rockafellers Langkawi is an absolute must-visit! The ambience was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. The seating was super comfy, adding to the overall cozy vibe of the place.
Being away from India, I was thrilled to find North Indian dishes on the menu. I tried their Dal Makhani, Garlic Naan, Butter Naan, and Butter Chicken, and I must say, it was far better than what you’d get in most Indian restaurants back home. The taste and quality were simply outstanding, a true treat for the taste buds!
The staff deserves a special mention for being so friendly and accommodating. They made us feel right at home, which elevated the experience even more. I was there with friends from India, Singapore, the Philippines, Pakistan, and Malaysia, and every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine.
I wholeheartedly recommend Rockafellers Langkawi to anyone visiting the island. Whether you're craving North Indian flavors or simply looking for a warm, welcoming place to enjoy delicious food, this spot is...
Read moreI am writing this while i am sitting here. We had an unfortunate experience here. As soon as i got down the car which i waited for 30 mins to get booked as it was hari raya fast opening time, a dog (cared for by restaurant) started chasing my 4year old son. I was scared for my son and tried to run behind him and fell down (motherly instincts made me forget i was wearing a short dress with fancy shoes for a nice dinner on vacation). My elbow and ankle got chipped and started bleeding. To my shock none of the restaurant staff came to offer help. They was just standing there looking at me very amused. I mean any stranger would run to help someone who falls down. Only after my husband asked for water they started to come down one by one asking if i am ok. One of the lady staff was even laughing out loud not sure at me or some inside joke she remembered. I will give the full review on food and service inside restaurant once i finish my dinner.
P.S. my son is fine, husband managed to scare the dog away...
