Paradise Seafood Restaurant風味海鮮飯店 — Restaurant in Langkawi Island

Alert!!! Way over price food!!!! If you like frozen food and smelly seafood, come here. Please beware of this place!!!

Was supposed to go Wanderland but they are closed due to water supply disruptions so we came here instead. Apparently the worst food we had in Langkawi so far. Food were disgusting, even the coconuts we order tasted sour and weird. We returned all the coconuts as the coconuts were not fresh at all. Food came after an hour.

We ordered 7 dishes and all of them tasted salty, soooo salty I can barely swallow down any food. Paid RM553 and left with empty stomach.

We don't talk about the little things which do not work in that restaurant. There is the big one issue we had to find out: a lobster salad with just 6 small pieces of that sea animal would have a weight of 650g (0.650kg). This would be a price of MYR 162.50 (~$40.-)! This sounded very strange to us. After we asked if this would be correct or if they may be counted the weight of the entire plate inculding fruits and salad together - they just answerded that it was a big lobster of an amount of 650g! Good ambiance. Food is so so only, the staff and our waiter is very friendly and assisted us throughout our mealtime there. Food was delivered less than 30 minutes. Hot and crispy. Portions were good for the price we paid for. The restaurant in these areas are cheaper than the one in Cenang beach. Eg fish per 100 GM is rm 10, in cenang it was rm 18 for the same type of fish. Its nearer to town. Ample sitting place. But the taste is only ok. Nothing to shout about. They serve alcohol...
