Yong Leong Seafood came highly recommended by my Grab driver, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the boss’s confidence won us over—he boldly declared we wouldn’t pay if the food wasn’t up to scratch. Spoiler alert: We happily paid every ringgit!

I have not been to Langkawi for almost 17 years and this is my first trip back to the island after the longest time. I was really looking forward to the trip. We touched down in the morning and went out for an early lunch. The first meal on this island was at Yong Leong seafood - recommended by my brother. They have a few signature dishes and we ordered 2 of them i.e. the signature tofu and the braised pork. Both were done extremely well and we totally love them. The claypot curry fish was also a hit and the dishes go so well together. We made short work of all 5 dishes. I was so hungry that I completely forgot to take photos of thr food but luckily, my sis in law did. So, with her permission, I am using her photos for my review here! Ha ha! The service is quite prompt and most of the dishes arrived with much of a wait. The kids also seemed to enjoy the food and we noticed a lot of tourists seem to know about this restaurant as well. All along when i was raised in Langkawi, if u were looking for authentic chinese food in Langkawi at reasonable price! This is definitely the place u dnt want to miss! The same cook (owner) has been operating this premise for more than 2 decades and the food has been maintained at certain quality level all along! The owner himself will go for vegie, groceries shooping daily for the freshest material and prelare later by noon b4 running the business in later noon.
