Went here twice during our stay in Langkawi. First visit was on weekdays, there were not many people and the Chinese uncle (I assumed it was the owner) was so kind to suggest us the menu & portion for all 4 of us. He speaks bahasa with northen malaysian accent and we were like, uyooOoo hahaha. We didn’t even need to think & decide what to eat. So we ordered salted egg quid, nestum fried prawn, kangkung belacan and ikan siakap with two different dishes. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience because they cooked the most delicious salted egg squid & nestum fried prawn. Both dishes were so balanced in terms of taste, not too salty & not too sweets. Other dishes were decent I guess coz I’ve tasted better ikan siakap dishes. The Chinese uncle came again and asked us how was the foods and if we wanted to add more but we didnt lah coz we were so full 😁
Second visit during our stay was on weekend so there were a lot of people there. Waiting time around 20-30 mins due to the crowd. We ordered salted eggs squid & nestum prawn (again!!) and they tasted so good and consistent from our previous visits. Friendly Uncle was busy attending other customers but he made sure everyone gets their food as soon as possible.
Total price was around RM120 for 4 people for the first visit and RM85 for the second visit coz we wanted to try clam sambal. I think if you ordered crab & lobsters it will be more expensive but overall it was a very pleasant dining experience. Definitely will come here if we visit...

If you’re visiting Langkawi and looking for an unforgettable seafood experience, Wonderland Food Store should be at the top of your list. As one of the most prominent tourist seafood eateries in Langkawi, this place is always bustling with visitors, and it’s easy to see why.
When we arrived for dinner, the restaurant was full, and there was a queue, which only built up our anticipation. Despite the crowd, the service was efficient, and the staff were incredibly cordial, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience.
We went all out with our order – fried seabass in ABC sauce, butter-fried prawn, fried octopus, fried chicken, vegetables, fried rice, steamed rice, and two drinks. It might have been a lot, but every dish was worth it. The fried seabass was crispy and paired beautifully with the flavorful ABC sauce. The fried octopus and butter-fried prawn were absolute highlights – fresh, crispy, and bursting with flavor. Even the vegetables were cooked to perfection, adding a refreshing contrast to the meal.
Another plus was the open-air ambiance, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxing, perfect for a seafood feast by the sea breeze.
Overall, Wonderland Food Store lives up to its reputation. If you’re in Langkawi and craving seafood, be prepared for a queue – but trust me, it’s worth the wait! Highly recommended.

The garlic bean sprout is still the winner. The rest, was okay.
Will I come again after the second consecutive night, perhaps on my next visit to Langkawi, yeah i will.
I decided to pay a visit after reading numerous positive reviews. Lo and behold, it's a bit of a mixed bag for me, in a good way nevertheless.
I ordered steamed garlic with soy sauce grouper, sweet and sour chicken, and stir fried garlic bean sprout.
The winner of them all? The fried bean sprout, i kid you not. The savoury taste and the crunchiness was heavenly good.
The fish however was a bit let down. It was fresh, however the taste lacked punch, and left nothing close to satisfaction.
The sweet and sour chicken was my least favorite, a bit chewy, overly although just a tad sour and, meh.
Will I come again? Most probably yes, just to try...
