I have no doubt this shop is quite popular. Although I visited during an off-peak time, there was no need to queue, but customers were consistently coming in, either to dine in or take away. I ordered their famous Pork Knuckle Mee, while my friend tried the Spicy Beef Mee. We also decided to share a Pork Chop to give it a try. The mee was excellent—chewy and nicely textured. However, the Spicy Beef Mee had a very odd taste (for both me and my friend). It wasn’t what we expected; the flavor was sour and slightly sweet with only a hint of spiciness. It just didn’t suit our palates—my mouth didn’t quite agree with it, haha! The Pork Chop, on the other hand, wasn’t bad at all. We finished about half of our food, sat for a while observing the steady flow of customers, and then left. Every shop has its uniqueness, and I’ve been told that many locals love this place because the flavors remind them of their childhood.

This noodle shop was recommended because it was located reasonably close to Kings Green Hotel where we were staying. We took a Grab car there and the ride costs RM7.00 one way. The shop is popular and it was full at lunch time. The shop is also known because it has a 40 year history. I ordered the beef noodle soup and my friend ordered the pork chop noodle (which was kon low). Taste wise, the noodles were ok, decent tasting. The beef broth was sufficiently flavourful. But I found nothing really special or exceotional in the noodles. Limited menu and variety of noodles served there. And could not communicate and undersrand the foreign worker waiter there, especially the drink waiter. Food order is also taken in Chinese, and for non-Chinese speakers, this will prove to be a challenge 😉.

This beloved Taiwanese noodle shop has been a staple for more than five decades, serving delicious, nostalgic flavors that have stood the test of time. Known for its signature Pork Chop Noodles and Beef Noodles, the shop has been a favorite for generations, making it a place filled with cherished memories. To me, the noodles are as delicious today as they were years ago, delivering consistency and quality. The shop is often bustling during lunch hours so come early to secure your spot. This shop will always holds a special place in my heart coz my dad used to bring me here for breakfast when I was young, and now that he’s no longer with us, I carry on the tradition by bringing my own sons here. It’s a place filled with cherished memories .😍
