KFC AEON Melaka — Restaurant in Malacca

Short-staffed on a weekend with only 5 staff. You can see the lines, the time was around 4 pm. I queued for 15-20 minutes with only 2 other patrons before me when I started. Only 2 counters were open with 2 other staff working as cooks. Another just came back from a break.

To be honest, I was okay with the wait as I craved KFC for a while and KFC Lotus wasn't open, so I thought I'll give this a try.

I ordered the snack plate which should come with coleslaw and rice. The cashier said that coleslaw was unavailable, so she offered to replace it with mashed potato, which was okay. She said the rice was cooking, so she offered to replace it with packet nasi lemak rice, which was okay. I added Potatoes Wedges, she informed me mayonnaise was out of stock, so I only had the cheese dip, which was okay too. But I decided to write this review because my spicy chicken wasn't coated well with the spices. At first, I thought she gave me the original which was okay. Only towards the end did I notice, she gave me what I ordered but just wasn't coated well. The rice was also very dry, and I didn't have anything like anchovies or sambal to go with. The Cheesy Wedges was also dry as I thought she would give me more cheese dip since mayonnaise wasn't available, but I was wrong.

Everyone has a bad day and I understand that. But when all these go wrong together at the same time, it kills the dining experience and I don't think whether I'll come back to this branch or not.

firstly , i saw the staff pack my food with the box which fall onto the floor, she say some rude words when the box fall down and i thought she would take me a new box but she couldnt do that. secondly, she dark face all the way she serve me thirdly, i redeem my rm20 for 2 snacks box voucher there. which in the set should have 2 pieces of chicken 1 coleslaw , 1 mashed potato and 1 bun. and the bun missing. the bun missing for 2 boxes. isnt it she hungry？ lastly. the chili sauce given packing already broken. and the sauce is spread everywhere in my box. i wish to have a reply for these...
