HANGCOFF Cafe — Restaurant in Melaka Island (Twin Island City Centre)

I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered a variety of dishes, including Spaghetti Carbonara with mashed potatoes, lamb grill, and Nasi Goreng with grilled chicken. Overall, the food was good and reasonably priced, with the black pepper sauce and gravy being particular highlights. However, Nasi Goreng was lack of flavor and didn’t quite meet expectations, which made it less worthwhile. For rm7 nasi goreng, there are so many options for delicious nasi goreng other than this shop.

In terms of food quality, I would rate the meal 4 out of 5. The main downside of the experience, however, occurred during the payment process. Although we only ordered one drink, the staff member assisting us—a woman with glasses—was noticeably unprofessional. She gave us an unpleasant stare and seemed to judge us, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. It's important for service staff to maintain a courteous and respectful attitude towards customers, as it greatly impacts the overall dining experience. Unless your shop has the policy everyone must order one meal one drink per person. It is customer's money, I believe customer can manage to decide what they want to order than deserve your...

In all honesty im not big in writting reviews but this place get it from me. The servers cant even smile, when asked about how long is the food, no one could attend to it. Ive been here for more than 40 mins. And im not even joking. Thats how long it was. When i came into the store there was a lot of tables that has not gotten their food. Shouldve told the customers on the wait beforehand rather than making us pay and wait. Really bad customer service honestly. I finished my drink so long ago too while waiting. The business owner should really fix this. Jangan sebab makanan murah pelanggan kena tunggu macam tunggul. Atleast inform dulu berapa lama nak kena tunggu makanan. Kalau rasa kedai packed then hire more people. I can say so much more about this place but i rather not. Ordered the nasi goreng lamb and not surprised tbh. This place is dumb tbh. Nothing else. saya first customer yg masuk kedai ni pada 15 sept 2024 pukul 8 lebih since masatu takda orang langsung kedai dia, and no one welcome us. secondly, dah diri kat kaunter tapi pekerja dia buat taktau je dengan kaki dekat atas kerusi tgh main phone. thirdly, my bill is 28.80. nak bayar pakai cash, budak takda manners tu kata tak boleh pakai cash sebab dia takda duit kecik since i bagi rm50. okay takpa bayarlah pakai kad. budak tu cakap ‘kad hanya untuk rm50 ke atas je’ first time eh dengar kedai macam ni. kedai kedai biasa pun kalau beli air mineral okay je pakai kad janji bayar. pastu dah takleh pakai kad dia suruh qr, pun tak boleh. budak takda manners tu nak setting debit card dekat machine tu pun tak reti, memang menyakitkan hati la time tu nak je keluar dari kedai tu pastu tukang masak dia keluar pastu boleh pulak bayar pakai kad. dah tiga benda yg buatkan aku turn off, sekarang nak review makanan pulak. biasa biasa je takde lah sedap macam wow. dah la kebersihan tak jaga. dalam nasi ada kulit telur. pinggan dengan sudu basuh tak bersih berminyak bertompok. lastly, nak bagi pengajaran untuk kedai ni. tak kira dari mana pun customer kedai kau ni datang, jangan assume semua orang tahu kedai kau ni kena order sendiri dekat dalam kaunter, jangan assume semua customer kau dari melaka. boleh letak papan tanda tulis situ ‘order di dalam’. baru la orang duduk tak terpinga pinga kalau takde yg welcome. pengajaran seterusnya, yg kerja tu semua budak lelaki muda muda. tahu, kerja ngan kawan kawan. tapi time kerja, kerja betul betul. belajar adab, cara handle customer dengan baik. ini jangan kata baik. senyum pun tidak. kau kena tau kedai kau ni dekat selat avenue yg dah nak lingkup. sebabtu taknak dah support orang melayu. orang datang support kedai kau, kau tak pandai jaga customer. kau jual murah pun kalau customer service tak okay, takkan tahan lama. rasa membazir makan kat kedai ni. will not recommend...
