The cake we ordered meet expectation but the owner way of doing business is unacceptable
When we arrive there is few cakes available, because we encounter such shop before that has 0 to no customer when walk in and limited availability of food it may have possibility food is not fresh. So we only ordered 1 piece of cake to try first.
The owner asked if we wanted to dine in or take away, we decided to dine in. After preparing the cake she only inform us that there is a minimum spend and we need to order at least 2 items to dine in.
Question is why didnt you pre inform during the ordering? Is it because your shop have very less sales and need to secure sales? And so we decided to take away because of this. The customer experience is terrible! You charge premium is inclusive of good customer experience when dining and yet you provided a bad experience. There is a 10% service fee too. What good service have you provided if i may ask? There is a few tables unclean with left over cup, i bet the customer had already left few hours as the coffee stain on table had dried out.
Another things is i inquire about matcha cake, but she insisted to sell me the hojicha cake a few time ignoring my request which left 1 piece. I have doubt is that leftover cake from few days ago that shelf life has meet its end by the end of day.
We already know its pricy from customers review but still give you a chance and you choose to destory it!
Given the taste of the cake i would come back for second time but because of your business ethics i...
Read moreHonestly loved the drinks that I got from this cafe (still thinking about it today!) However the poor review really does come from the way they run their business as a few others have mentioned before.
Upon entering I saw one couple waiting for a takeaway order and one person dining in. I placed an order for a matcha cloud and the lady told me my mother had to order something as well as it was their policy for a minimum spend so I ordered an extra snack to abide by their policy
I waited an entire 40 mins for both my drink and bread to be served, in a shop filled with only 2 other customers that also waited almost equally as long and with no apologies for the delay. From observing them, they were quite inefficient as the lady tried doing most of the work while the man looked particularly lost in running this business.
Furthermore they charge an extra 10% service tax on top of their drinks which are considered pricey for Ipoh standards. I personally find this tax unacceptable as 1) we have to place our own order and payment counter so we aren’t even served 2) there is already a minimum spend 3) the wait time is ridiculous
As a small business owner, making ur customers happy in service should be a top priority and not just focus on serving up...
Read moreThis was my first visit, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. We ordered a slice of Mango Earl Grey cake (RM19) and four cups of drinks, each costing around RM14-15 on average. Given the price, I expected a better experience, but was disappointed by the small portion sizes of the drinks, which were served in paper cups. Although we ordered our drinks hot, they arrived lukewarm. Additionally, the cake did not taste fresh, as it appeared to have been sitting for several days. It was slightly moist and had an off taste.
Furthermore, I noticed that most of the game sets were not well-maintained. Many appeared old and damaged, and some even had dust on them. Overall, I felt that the value for money was lacking, and I hope the quality of both the food and the facilities can be improved for...
