Tried Boat Noodle just to see what the hype was all about. I started off by ordering 2 bowls - Ayutthaya and the dry tom yam noodles. The Ayutthaya was okay, it tasted like a blend of warming herbs. The dry tom yam was very delicious. I ordered 3 more bowls, including the dry tom yam one. The other 2 were the non-spicy noodles. The one with the crispy chicken skin was delicious as well, while the noodles with the meatball was okay. Next time I come here I will be ordering the dry tom yam noodles and the one with crispy chicken skin. As for the drink, I tried their butterfly pea juice. At first it was really sweet, but after a while it got watered down by ice and it tasted really nice. I also ordered the spicy grilled chicken. The sauce was tasty - it had a combination of hot, sweet and tangy flavours. The chicken was well-seasoned but personally I think there are better grilled chicken out there.

My first time here was about 9 months ago. I was impressed enough to make a note to visit again. So 3 days ago was my second visit. Good grief, how quickly they have regressed in every way. First off, the staff seem barely interested, let alone enthusiastic, to serve. The pad kra pao i ordered was so miserly in its portions that i asked sarcastically if they had served me a kid’s meal - see the photo. I asked for ‘less sweet’ for my iced lemon tea but they clearly couldn’t be bothered - it was tinglingly sweet! The whole apathy with which the place is being run is symptomatic of establishments where owners are not around and young, untrained, hires are left to their own devices running a business. Give this a complete miss, folks, unless you want to pay for insult.

Boat Noodle offers a variety of Thai-inspired dishes, with the Tom Yam Chef Mai being a flavorful choice, though the portion size was disappointingly small, even by their usual standards. The same goes for the Pathumthani and Ayutthaya noodles. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai lacked the authentic taste expected from a true Thai dish, which was quite a letdown. On the brighter side, the Sangkaya was delightful, while the Lava Egg Krapow was decent but not outstanding. For true Thai street food lovers, the experience may fall short. It would be great if they could improve the taste and perhaps offer a small token of appreciation, like a discount or complimentary item, to keep customers coming back.

VERY POOR SERVICE!!! I had a very disappointing experience at Ipoh Parade Boat Noodles today. My family and I (3 people) went to the restaurant and ordered food totaling almost RM60, and to redeem 3 free boat noodles using the lucky draw card previous I get. However, the male staff took the card and informed us that we couldn’t redeem the noodles because today is 31/3/25. When I pointed out that the T&C on the card mentioned it was valid until 31/3, he left and consulted with his female supervisor. He returned, stating that the redemption wasn’t allowed because it was Hari Raya. I reminded them that the T&C didn’t mention any exclusions for public holidays, but they insisted this was the restaurant's policy. They then told me I could complain directly to their HQ if I wasn’t happy.

The female supervisor also approached us, claiming that the HQ had suddenly stopped the promotion and that there was nothing they could do. I was deeply disappointed and felt cheated by the whole situation. It’s not about the 3 free noodles, it’s about how they gave us false hope and then deprived us from the happiness. If the company couldn’t afford to honor the lucky draw, they shouldn’t have offered it in the first place. The entire experience felt meaningless, and in the end, we canceled our order and left. I even returned the lucky draw card, as it was no longer of any value. This has been the worst service experience...

I came here to have lunch for the very first time.Since the shop was full I was waiting outside for the waiter to call me once got a table for more than 30minutes. But the waiter never inform me to order first despite he asked to order the family who came after me. Then I noticed there was a table empty and asked the waiter. he said he will only allow the person who ordered just now. Its a waiter's responsibility to make sure serve the customer well. When I asked him who you should call first whether the person who came first or ordered first. He answered he must call the person who came first but he let the family who came after me and ordered first. Such a poor and bad customer service. In comparison the next shop Mydeon Topoki, they are serving the customer quickly and we'll manared. I will never come to this shop again and also will not recommend Boat noodles to my family and friend. I really get upset with such a ignorant...

Really nice place to eat in groups. A noodle plate of any flavouring costs around 2 ringgits (RM1.99, please note it is served in a small bowl, so you could order tons of bowls to your liking). Drinks are above RM 4. Variety of good choices of Thai noodle foods. The chair was heavy though but it's a decent place to eat with friends!

You can post a picture and hashtag it "#boatnoodlecentralsquare and in a few hours or days your picture will be on the screen of their tvs. Make sure your Instagram is not private.

For me, it it suits tounge, lot's of savoury but not really spicy. I suggest the Ayuthaya (or something) flavouring cause it's simply my favourite everytime I go there. The drinks are great though the green tea blend really taste like green tea but it wasn't too sweet like starbuck's or any cool blog or tea live. It's just right I guess.

A perfect restaurant for a group hang out (...
