Indulgence Restaurant and Living — Restaurant in Perak

Super Duper Bad experience. We were from KL and went today for teatime after being recommended as one of the best place for coffee & desserts. Service was super duper bad. Waiter was not friendly to begin with. We ordered 3 servings of ice cream which price ranges from rm18 to rm22 per serving, a cup of hot latte, Ice Chocolate Drinks, Apple Cinnamon Brownie from the desserts chiller, 4 cups of warm water, 100g of gummie bears from the desserts counter, and the Dessert Crepe dish from the special menu on the board. At 5.45pm only 4 tables occupied including ours. First icecream serving came after 15minutes. Then 2nd serving of icecream came after another 15minutes. After 45 minutes only those we received with 4 cups of warm water. At 6.45pm ie an hour later the ice chocolate drinks came. That was after asking for the rest of the menu for more than twice. The gummy bear & brownie which was actually ready made displayed at the chiller was not served until I personally go to the desserts counter and complaint. The latte was fixed when I personally go to the barista and stand there and wait for him to fix it in front of my eyes. Had I not went there and complaint, the latte may have not fixed and we have to wait longer and reminde few more times to the waiter. There were not many customers only 4 tables occupied with 2 staffs at drinks counter and 3 waiters. We cancelled our crepes order because after checking with the waiter 3-4 times within 45 minutes and after almost 1 hour the waiter came to inform that the crepe takes some time to make, but to us we suspected that our orders were not put in by the waiter so kitchen staffs didn't prepare it. So we cancelled it. The chinese guy waiter who took our order never updated us anything even though he passed us by many times. A bangla guy was the one who came to update us instead. We were super disgusted with the service. Overall was not a pleasant coffee & desserts treat for us. Haagen Dazs sign was displayed in the restaurant but the icecream served was not haagen dazs ice cream. All three different ice cream menu that we ordered using 1 same flavor ice cream just different garnish and toppings. Lousy! Super disgusted with the restaurant staffs attitude, super slow and unfriendly service, restaurant ambiance not as nice as we expected it should be from the recommendation, restaurant and external landscape not well maintained and looks horrible. The trophies and awards displayed the entrance were meaningless and a disgrace to the owner. Regret spending our rm100++ there for coffee and simple ice cream and brownie. With that kind of amount we could get 100 times better somewhere else especially in KL. We actually gave negative 5 stars if there was such button to click. But we had to click at least 1 star to get to this...

Food was really nice, however the atmosphere and decor doesn't quite match the name 'indulgence' and the food. The atmosphere is quite homely, but the waiters felt a tiny bit too shadowy. Standing only about a metre away made you constantly feel like you couldn't relax. The food was delicious, I had the Yorkie. However this could have had more gravy served with it, as the actual Yorkshire pudding was a bit drive. I'm from Yorkshire....so I know how this should be done. The food also is a bit pricey in regards to other meals in the area, I know of a great other few restaurants nearby where we could have the same order for about 50rm less. Otherwise though we did enjoy our time, I'll consider going back, but I don't think it will be my first option...

Haven’t been here since like forever, so I decided to pop by today. Food was pretty basic, both the pastas my parents ordered were blend, there was no flavor at all. I ordered the vegetable lasagna, the vegetables were roughly chopped, big sized and definitely not “fine” at all, a two layered lasagna that was filled with “lohan chai-ish vegetables”. Aside from that the service were not that good either, staffs were not aware of the customers and it was hard to get their attention. I honestly don’t get why the restaurant is even categorize as a “fine dining restaurant” on google, maybe it was but now it’s just pretty misleading. Definitely not worth it because the quality of the food and preparation does not match with...
