Went for holidays to Ipoh with my family. Visited the restaurant for lunch on Wesak Day . Totally disappointed with following: Firstly no one to welcome us as we enter and we were looking around for someone to assist us to a table . After waiting a few minutes a guy came over and took us to a table. We wanted to order chicken Biryani but the guy who took the orders told ‘ No chicken Biryani’. Don’t understand why it is in the menu if they are not offering. So we ordered mutton , prawn biryani and Tandoori. Noted that the person who was taking our orders was not focused and looking elsewhere!! After a while the food came and since we were hungry everyone started to dig in . First of all i dont understand how they can serve us Tandoori chicken when initially the person said ‘no chicken biryani’ , don’t know where the chicken came from suddenly. No chicken biryani but there is chicken tandoori??? The prawn biryani was tasteless with small prawns . Did not expect that for the price!! Tandoori was overcooked and did not taste like authentic Tandoori. I have had better Tandoori in cheaper stalls and shops. All my family members were disappointed with the service and the food !! On top of that the price paid for the lousy service and food was hefty !! Totally not worth it . Will never visit the place again .!!! 👎👎👎 Appreciate if the business owners look into this matters seriously bcoz as a customer we expect quality of food and services to be at par with what we...
Read moreWe went for dinner today and the parking lot was fairly empty. As it was drizzling, we were happy to notice a few empty slots at a semi covered space right outside the restaurant. As soon as we parked and about to come out a waiter came running and said that those slots are only for owners. And although it was drizzling he insisted on us parking at an uncovered place outside. It's sad that the owners have so little regard for their customers. And we are not young people. We ordered Kashmir Naan which was good. The mutton was super tough and hard to chew. Butter chicken was good. The plain briyani was very average. During our meal no one came to check on us or ask if everything was OK. There were only 2 tables occupied. Once we paid the bill the waiter disappeared. We had to see ourself out.no one even said thank you or anything. And when we left we noticed that the owners parking was still empty. So you are ok with your customer getting wet in the rain even though no one is using the covered parking. Overall it was such a bad experience and one which we will...
Read moreI ate here years ago. It was average then. This time the food quality has gone down. It's bad.
Crab soup tasted like medicine soup. Spinach was ok. Other vege dishes didn't seem to taste well. Careful when ordering their fried dishes. Soggy and not too fresh.
We suspect that most of the food were frozen not freshly made. Probably due to slow business, they had to go with this method.
Mutton was too spicy. Almost all their dishes were really spicy. I am not sure about their dessert as I was disappointed with the overall dishes than I didn't have the strength to continue to order fearing more disappointment.
Price is over the board and it isn't worth it.
I apologize for the hard comment but I brought my parents who were very good at tasting Indian food. They have experience as to southern and northern dishes. There is a difference between unique and tasting entirely something else from what mentioned. To make you understand "Wan ton mee tasted like...
