Pakeeza Restaurant & Catering — Restaurant in Perak

Revisiting after along while. The food is still excellent bar a minor hiccup. My daughters ordered a butter garlic cheese nan and a butter garlic nan each and could not tell it apart as the one supposedly with cheese had spotty coverage of cheese. Called over the captain and asked him to tell it apart and he could not. The best comment he could give was the chef maybe made a mistake. We left it at that but kudos to our table waiter when he ask us if we were satisfied with the meal and we mentioned this matter, he said we should have told him and he would have replaced it.

It seems the captains here are long in the tooth as the other captain actually had the nerve to say their reserved parking lot is for customers only when I was backing into it. I went down and asked him since the other halal outlet in the block was closed, did he not think I was going to be their customer! He then went on to give blustered excuses for his misunderstanding. Maybe it is because I was still in my travel cloths but my vehicle at least should have indicated I can actually afford to dine in your esteemed establishment. Talk about looking down at people eh. The food was delicious. But I still doubt whether it justifies the price. I walked in knowing the price but still somewhat find the food is average. The reason why I gave 3 star was 2 things; The table concept. We booked for 10people seating and the table was very wide, literally. And it was very difficult to pass each other the food we ordered from one corner to the other as I have to stand each time to pass food to my siblings or my mom. I've sat in restaurants with more family members and we were given beautiful round table with centre setting that can spin for easy reach. I booked table from 7pm to 7.30pm and I arrived at 7pm and ordered shortly after. My sibling arrived at 7.45pm. We were only informed at restaurant that the table that we sat has another reservation at 8.30pm. which I find very unpleasant. I should have been informed that when I call to make reservation. The reason why I do family dinners during holidays is to catch up with family and relatives and normally will sit for at least 2hrs. I find it not pleasant as I paid close to RM500 for the dinner.

The best Indian restaurant so far. Love their garlic naan and palak paneer, only these two dishes will get yourself stuffed for a long time. Ordered too much for the first time and not even able to finished all of it. Worth for the value.

Updates 8/2022: Service is getting worse and worse! All of the Experienced waiter(with vest and suit) was so slothful, I’m not exaggerating but they do really move like a sloth while I asked them for a favor, I can’t believe my eyes, one moment I really thought I was in sloth’s restaurant. The shorter waiter used a bad tone answer impatiently to my question. Another one even frowned at me when I asked him for the menu. They might have lose the passionate but they shouldn’t forgot where their place at, they are on the service line and they have to know their place, good hospitality, attentive and efficient is a must.

Food and environment are great but their bad impression, bad attitude were damaged everything, if you are the boss, you should have taking an eye on them and taking some actions for the changes to better not...
