Petit Mary Patisserie French Cuisines — Restaurant in Perak

If you are looking for European ambient, something different from the normal famous bean sprout chicken in Ipoh, then come to Petit Mary off Jln Sultan Azlan Shah a short distance from. Aeon( former Jaya Jusco and Tesco Extra Ipoh Garden , Petit Mary is a bungalow house converted into a European house, the entrance is welcoming and deco landscape is attractive. Even though the flowers are all artificial and not real flowers but it do bring bees like me in. As you enter, the atmosphere greets you like you are in an European cafe. The pastries display start your appetite rolling. Wow French cuisine with the famous croissant. The pastries here is equivalent or even better than the French pastries i have eaten in Paris. Well, i order croissant tuna and i was served with a big helping almost 1 big tin of tuna. It is fullfilling and that solve my lunch. The corridor/ supposed to be varendah seatings is airconditioned and enclosed .It is accessible to the restrooms/🚻 ( toilet/tandas) at the far end. The food served is palatable to the taste bud just nice and not too salty. Very good ,nyamai and price is reasonable. There are also tables and chairs seatings upstairs in case you find the side corridor full. By the way there is open air parking lot free at the end of the block. I love this cafe!! Its soo cute! The service was good, one friendly chinese waiter, the rest all look like they hate their job but issokay i understand hahaha. I brought my baby stroller coz she's sleeping, the waiter came and help me w the stroller the moment she saw us from inside. She's so helpful. Then she showed us nearest seat so we dont hv to travel far w our sleeping baby. The place very cooling, they hv like 3 airconds in one seating area. Such cozy vibe!! Gorgeous design i really love the lamp design! Hehe. Also the colour is turqoise its so relaxing. They have flower shop beside em so they hv this huge baby breath bouquet in pink, its so gorgoeus!! I use it as prop for my photos!! Its perfect! The food prices so reasonable. If in kl this kind of place the price will be to the roof!! Hehe the katsu nasi lemak is to die for? Huge portion rm18.9 and soo delicious! The creamy salmon pasta was good but its really2 creamy! Hahah. The apple mousse was interesting tho i was hoping for the outer layer tp be crackable hahaha. Nicely decorated, cute cakes and pastries. I remember many years ago it was raining when i visited. And a guy came up to my car with an umbrella, smiled and ushered me into the cafe. Few years passed and with fond memories of the place I decided to pay another visit with family and friends.

Surprisingly few patrons on weekends, probably due to the mushrooming of better cafes in Ipoh. Also likely due to the lack of efficiency and the shoddy service. Was wondering why the young staffs were so poorly trained despite clearly trying their best. After encountering the senior middle-aged male cashier, all is crystal clear. Words are unable to describe his terrible service and demeanour. Quite a pity a pretty cafe with decent food being manned by someone like that.

Ill probably not visit petit mary in the near future. It still remains as a nice place to visit. Ultimately what all patrons want is to feel welcomed and have a good time. Im just wondering how would I get my food or beverage without going through...
