We went there for a night on Saturday, December 2024.
The location is so far the best, channeled to next door shopping mall.
One thing to improve is The Deck Gastrobar, the quality of drinks such as pineapple and cherry juice are not real fruit juice, in fact charged for RM16.90 for a powder drink like "Rebena", very bad indeed.
Meanwhile, Live Band started 9pm-11pm, singers are very kind to sing our selected songs, but to improve, since we as visitors only stayed one night there, we are waiting for the next singings while the members of live band are having too long on break time, in fact, looks to me like having a dinner during the performance hours in between 9pm-11pm, which is very bad impression to customers you know.
The staffs at the reception counter must learn how to smile, because they looks tired and lack of energy.
Lastly, when we checked out only noticed there is a next door lift up to the car park where we walked from the Ipoh Parade 4th floor car park (GSC cinema) via tunnel to the hotel.
I believed, the management of WEIL Hotel should share the information clearly on its website.
Overall, is a fine hotel, I don't expect perfection, but at least the common standard and awareness should be...
Read moreWas just there for a drink around 4.15pm. And the person taking order has no clue in the Ingredient of almost all the cocktails. So we end up not dare to try some of the mysteriously name cocktails.. we went for the traditional cocktails like margaritas to be safe. Then we saw the same person taking order who has no idea what are the ingredients used in the cocktails is the one mixing our margaritas!!! And best of all, the actual bartender was chit chatting at the same bar counter. Haiz.. this is total unacceptable. Have a non bartender mixing cocktails for guest. Hotel/Bar administration. If u are reading this, please do something before all your customer starts to...
Read moreThe Deck Gastrobar is a little hidden gem in Ipoh! We were looking for a way to cool down from the extremely hot day so looked up swimming pools in Ipoh. Most of them weren’t open to the public but we found that The Deck had a rooftop pool so we went there. It was delightful! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the views from the roof were stunning, the pool was refreshing, towels were free, and they serve draught Guinness!!! The only downside was that they opened at 4pm, wish they...
