Went on Christmas Eve, it was a great night. Happy, nice place, awesome music and friendly waiters. It was great.
Decided to come back again on Christmas Day with friends, planned to have dinner, made reservations and when we arrived, we're been told that only snacks is available. Fine, we ordered the skewers and while happily savouring it and flipping thru the menu and deciding on our next few other snacks since we are hungry. Then, we are been told kitchen is closing early due to lack of staff. Again, fine. We asked if we are allowed to order delivery then which they gladly allowed us. Food problem solved.
Then comes the drinks. My friend ordered the tuxedo earlier and I decided to order the green arrow after, which I was happily drinking it. Then my friend ordered another cocktail, man in black, which she happily chose because previously she did chose some other cocktails which they told her that it is unavailable. Ordered and waited for 20mins, waiter came back and said the bar is making it. So we waited another 10mins and drinks aren't here yet. When asked about the cocktail, he came back saying that cocktails is no longer available for the night and only beer and bottles is available. Please tell me how can we NOT be upset whereby I came back bringing my friends which I've told about how great your place is and to have a good Christmas night.
And your manager, Mark (the one with the facial beard and tanned skin) probably needs more training on communication skills. While I'm expressing my upsetting situation, he doesn't seem to be interested while apologising and seems distracted which annoys me even more. And probably his communication with the floor crew so to have everyone in the same page no matter they're new or old part timers! Keeps blaming on the new staff isn't professional and problem solving.
Seriously, you guys need better communication so then no further disappointment will occur especially when people is looking forward to a great night of...

Once you open the door, you will be amazed by the decors inside. The decors is based on a tailor shop. The waitresses are very responsive to our calls but it seems English is not their main language, hence thereās a tiny bit of difficulty in conveying what we want. Despite all that, we still got a good drink with reasonable price. The live band on Wednesday night is quite nice as well and the music is not too loud. All in all, itās a good speakeasy bar, and I will come again to try on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe location is not easy to spot but look out for a blue door beneath a defunct signboard which is not spelling Bar Tailor and press the button to request the same to be opened. Once you get in, a fleet of stairs take you to another enclosure where you can spend 5 minutes locations the second entrance to get to the place (I won't reveal it here as that's the fun part š) Once you get in, it's a buzzing place with a great ambience and while the booze is great, the food options are limited and the service is more inclined to the booze and a balance would be desired... All in all a fun place to hang out...
