When I entered this restaurant. It was musty. The smell was quite strong. I asked a staff to open the door for a while. However, he said “CAN NOT” without any hesitation and turned on air conditioner.
Who is this guy? I was speechless because of his unbelievably rude attitude toward a customer.😡 If you want to do whatever you want there, first you have to close the restaurant!
This guy is mainly working in the hall, not in the kitchen. He is always speaking some language with no context, in the hall. He thinks that is Korean language. I was very uncomfortable for that. Honestly, I am doubtful about his mental balance. Please shut up!!!
What a horrible service!!😡😡😡
Thank you for your reply, Owner!
Do you think blaming me is helpful for your restaurant’s reputation, rather than improving your service? Did you check this issue with the staff I mentioned? You asked me if I made any purchases in your restaurant. Didn’t you check this with the staff? You should have done that before you replied to me.
Recently, I frequently went to this restaurant. I ate some noodles there and took some food away. When I was ordering food, the guy always spoke an unknown phrase toward me, every time. The first time, I was confused and didn’t know how to respond. However, later I became uncomfortable and annoyed more and more. It repeated again and again, whenever I went there, so I started to think he may have some mental problem. What I mentioned about his mental balance is from “reasonable reasoning” based on my experience.
Today, when I entered the restaurant, as I already mentioned, it was very smelly, so I couldn’t eat anything there. That’s why I asked him to open the door to change the air. Is it “6 stars high-class service”? This is the basic of the basics. If you want money from a customer selling your food, you MUST do this!
Your message is very sarcastic and emotional, and you don’t understand this situation correctly. Are you really the owner of this restaurant? Who are you? Why don’t you tell me about your name and your official position in your company, here?
The guy and you are the...
Read moreRasa Viet is a quiet, unassuming little restaurant in the Damansara Kim. It's two doors away from PJ Hills restaurant. Small hand-painted prints depicting scenery n the instantly recognisable demure Vietnamese beauty in flowing ao dai decorate one wall while the opposite wall features a display of their ubiquitous pointed straw hats.
My order of their pho bo (flat rice noodles in clear beef broth with beef balls and thin sheaths of raw beef) was a fortuitous choice. It was prettily served in an porcelain bowl one would have expected to see in an avant garde French or Italian restaurant. The affable young man who served us asked politely if I would like the whole combination of fresh aromatic greens that accompany the pho (I'm guessing that some diners do not). I asked for everything. When my order came, the young man politely introduced every single sauce n condiment on the tray that I could add to my pho bo. I followed his advice of adding fresh squeezed lime and two small spoonfuls of garlic infused vinegar into the beef broth before dunking in the fresh Vietnamese mint, coriander leaves, chopped spring onions, thinly-shaved white onions n bean sprouts. The resultant beef broth was delightfully umami in taste. The rice noodles were soft n silky, the raw beef slices just cooked through in the hot broth n the beef balls were solid n crunchy. This satisfying bowl of pho bo was RM18.90
Hours later, I was pleased to note that I did not feel unduly thirsty. The young man had explained that their beef broth is patiently brewed for more than 20 hours to attain the clarity n natural beefy flavour.
In my next visit, I will try out their bahn mi with carrot&beef stew and the many interest Vietnamese rolls.
Incidentally, Rasa Viet is Muslim-friendly (clearly stated in...
Read moreHave been wanting to try out this restaurant for some time but there were so many good Vietnamese restaurants around. Finally get round to it today and I must say no regrets at all. We arrived rather early 11.30am in order to avoid the lunch crowd and we were most lucky to get a parking right in front of the restaurant. I figure parking would be quite a challege given the busy location it is at. The restaurant is absolutely charming, love the decor very much and it really gives you a Vietnamese feel with all the lovely lanterns and decor. Love the ambience of this restaurant. There aren't a lot of seats so in order not to dissapoint, I would suggest you come early or make reservation, not sure if they We ordered Classic beef steak and meatball. The broth is very yummy and the beef is cooked to perfection. It is served with an array of four sauces. Depending on your taste, you can add sauces to the broth but I find it no needing any more tweaking. The four sauce array has in it a lemon grass samball which I absolutely like coz it is aromatic and yummy. We also had the grilled chicken, fried roll vermecili salad which was absolutely enjoyable except that the grilled chicken is rather bland. The fried roll is crispy, not oily and delicious with any of the sauces. The caramel came wobbly and delicious with a tad of bitterness to it. Overall, the food is just so flavourful. The service is spot on...timely, cooked to perfection and very helpful head waiter. Definitely will be back to try the rest of the items...
