Came here with my family at 6pm. Managed to get parking right in front and had 5 to 6 parking spaces left. By the time it was 6.45pm, people had to wait outside already for a table so would recommend others to come before 6.30 at the latest or make a reservation (we made a reservation). We ordered 3 portions of dry bah kut teh and 5 portions of soup bah kut teh (all 8 are mixed meat parts with no innards), 1 romaine lettuce with oyster sauce, 4 bowls of you tiao, and 2 extra bowls of enoki mushrooms (the soup bah kut teh already has enoki mushrooms and button mushrooms but we didn't know and ordered extra so just a heads up). We also upgraded our rice to oil rice (deep fried onions on top). Total was RM169. We had our own tea.
The owner came to take our order and he was super friendly, helpful and patient!
The food was excellent! Tip, mix the oyster sauce vegetables before sharing and serving because we did not and some of us just huge globs of oyster sauce on our vege. The meat was tender and soft. Even the lean meat was tender. The ribs were fall of the bone soft as well!
The place is quite small with limited tables with an open cooking area so you can see them prepare your food as you eat or wait. Surprisingly, it's not hot or stuffy. They have plenty of air-conditioning and fans without it being too cold either. You can enjoy your food comfortably until like 7 pm when people start pouring in and then you feel bad for keeping...

Read moreFei Zai Bak Kut Teh is, in my opinion, one of the best and most worth-it Bak Kut Teh spots in town. I first tried their Bak Kut Teh when they were renting a space near Xing Loong Restaurant by SS17 Mall at night. Back then, I used to have it three times a week!
Ever since they moved, I had been searching for them, and I was thrilled to discover that they now have their own shop. The taste remains just as good as before, with the same rich flavors, but now in a more comfortable and pleasant environment. However, the shop itself is quite small, with only about seven tables available, so seating is limited.
One thing I really appreciate is that they now offer soft rib bone as a meat option, which is a great addition. Their oil rice is also excellent and definitely a must-try. The only minor downside is that the owner struggles a little with Mandarin when taking orders, but aside from that, I have no complaints.
Overall, Fei Zai Bak Kut Teh remains one of my top choices for Soup Bak Kut...
