I made reservations during Ramadan and made payment in advance then I added one more person for iftar set and made payment at cashier, showed cashier QR code paid receipt he checked said ok then a very rude lady called me the next day and spoke to me very rudely and accused me of not paying for 1 more additional person when I explained I paid she was talking very rudely to me and shouting at me already she was bad enough to accuse me in the first place instead of calling to check with me she was damn rude and I’m really extremely angry how can a restaurant treat a customer this way and accuse a customer at least talk and ask properly and check with your staff and cashier and check your accounts properly first of all before doing all this!! We are Muslims fasting for Ramadan you know how can treat us this way and why on earth would we do this in the first place? She told me that I’m supposed to pay her again I said obviously i went to the restaurant to eat of course i will pay directly at the restaurant itself right? So very very rude and really doesn’t make any sense at all I have never come across such a restaurant in my life!! Just a terrible mamak shop kind of run down place and treating customers like this!! You’re not even a proper Arabic standard kind of restaurant and behave so badly to customers!! Even your food is salty and doesn’t taste nice at all! Will never go back to your restaurant anymore! I spend so much eating buffets at 5 star hotels what is RM44? My goodness calling and screaming and shouting and accusing me like that better check your facts and get them right first before calling and harassing customers ok!! Worst...

Review:
Baba Ganouj is an absolute gem for lovers of Middle Eastern cuisine. Nestled in a cozy corner of the city, this restaurant offers an authentic culinary experience that transports you straight to the heart of the Levant.
Ambiance: The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with traditional decor that adds a charming touch. The soft lighting and comfortable seating make it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions.
Food: The star of the show is, of course, the baba ganouj – a perfectly creamy, smoky eggplant dip that's full of rich flavors. Every dish I've tried here is outstanding. The hummus is silky smooth, the falafel is crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the shawarma is succulent and well-seasoned. Portions are generous, making it great for sharing.
Service: The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They are always ready to offer recommendations and accommodate special requests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Price: Reasonably priced considering the quality and authenticity of the food. It's excellent value for money, making it a go-to spot for both regular meals and festive gatherings.
Location: Conveniently located with ample parking nearby, it's easy to get to and worth the trip every time Baba Ganouj is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Middle Eastern fare. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place should be on your list. Highly recommended!

Read moreAfter trying take out from another branch via grab (Brem mall) and was impressed, I gathered some friends to try dine in from a nearer branch near my place.
Mixed Grill Flavourful skewered lamb and chicken kebab meats. The garlic sauce it comes with is super bomb.
Couple set chicken mandy The mint/chilli chutney kinda sauce and the red gravy pairs well with the rice pilaf that is flavourful, moist and balanced in flavour pairing with the gravy given. Chicken was not dry and pretty good. It also comes with Arabian bread and a small mix appetiser plate. The hummus is creamy and an addictive flavour bomb to pair with freshly made bread.
3)Baba Ganoush Kind of like a middle eastern style salsa tbh. Was expecting a more creamier and smokier finer paste like hummus actually. But it was still pretty solid and a refreshing side dish to fill up the vegetable consumption quotas for any health conscious folks out there.
Complementary baklava was good too as a nice dessert. Have not had other baklavas before but it’s pretty good.
Shoutout to the Arabian bread. Lowkey I will have this bread over roti canai all day, as it is not oily and just pure freshly baked clean tasting dough vessel for the different sauces or paste it can pair with.
Overall an amazing dining experience and balanced meal. Friendly and nice staff too. This place will be my go-to for middle eastern cuisine in general or when I’m craving for a takeout wrap (shawarma) via...
