We had 3 pax banana leaf rice RM 24. We were given waxed paper banana leaf. I thought it was a great idea. As banana leaves are scarce during the Raya period. There was not much of a variety of toppings or accompaniment given. Potato dhall, no solid veg like cabbage, spinach etc. 3 types of curry gravy. We ordered a fresh yogurt RM1.90 that came in a 2 oz plastic container
We ordered drinks and it came in miserable soft paper cups & paper straw. The ice melted fast. The drink was quickly consumed in a minute. We ordered some ice and it came in a glass! We ordered a fresh cow's milk RM4.55 and it came in a glass.
We had 2 hard boiled egg in sambal RM4.90. A small dish of mutton curry RM14.05. 3 fried whole chicken leg RM22.65. 3 pieces of fried half sliced kurau RM15.10. They were quite stingy on the fried chillie and lime pickles condiment. 2 chillie and a pinch of pickles. Couldn't be satisfied with the ice milk tea in a paper cup, I ordered one in a takeaway bag. Double the volume amount of the paper cup's content. RM2.55 for cup vs RM2.85 for bag.
The bill came up to RM 121.40 with takeaway of 2 plain roti canai RM 3.60 and a bottle of lime pickle RM5.65. The menu prices, one would expect that service tax is included because of the odd 5 sen or 10 sen at the end. At the end of the bill is the 6% SST. The odd figures must be their own marked up prices across board. Service was fast, there were many staff around.
I have a suggestion. It is good that you adopted the policy of using paper wares but if you have glasses, why don't you make use of it? Months ago, we thought it was due to the Pandaemic. Now, you will be just creating more garbage for the...
Read moreUpdate : 2020/08/21 Tauhu Sambal was very good. It was good enough to replace the chutney of my Thosai Telor. Had it quite a number of times. Highly recommended at RM 3.90 per plate.
......... We have been here many times and tried different types of food and dishes. Curry and fried dishes would be tasty and highly recommended.
My favorite would be Thosai telor with Ayam 65 (strange name for a dish, I think). Texture and taste of these two items have been very consistent so far. Thosai would be soft and delicious with chutney and dhal. A mouthful of thosai with chutney and dhal can be a little heavenly.
The tasty Ayam 65 would be a little crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Masala chicken would also be my other scrumptious option to go with thosai or the occasional roti canai. Otherwise, Ayam 65 would still my preferred choice.
Vadai and chutney would be another great combination that is not to be missed. Vadai would still have a thin crispy layer on the outside even when it's no longer hot. It would be soft and a little fluffy inside.
My one gripe here would be the consistency with chutney or rather the lack of it. There were times when it would taste a little like the sauce for chicken rice, a little sweet with too little milk. Sometimes, the flavour of raw milk would be too strong and unpleasant.
Service has been quite good with cleanliness acceptable most of the time.
Parking can be difficult during the peak lunch hour.
Our experience so far with this eatery has been pleasant.

Read moreThe staff is nice, the food is nice and delicious, However the staffs at counter are dishonest.. Why❓ Is because I was queuing and Infront of me there's a customer just make payment by using Touch N Go E-wallet and when my turn, I also did requested make payment by Touch N Go E-wallet, and the counter staff told me they don't have E-wallet system and they don't accept E-wallet payment..
Immediately I ask him, just now why the previous customer can make payment by E-wallet payment and why now I can't use E-wallet payment ❓ So in this awkward situation, the cashier at counter have no choice but to accept my request for E-wallet payment without apologies to me...
This is why, I felt dishonest to some of the staff at this restaurant and I don't understand why a normal retailer business don't provide such as E-wallet payment ❓
In my opinion, We are living in year of 2024 and coming to 2025, and yet still some traders insist accepting cash payments instead of E-wallet payment to convince your customers transactions...
Disappointed to dishonest staff at there, But the...
