Le Sense — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

I have been to Farm 2 Plate ever since they first opened their door to the public. Their food was quite consistent throughout the years and in the process, garnered a huge loyal following. Once in a while, I'd pop into their restaurant just to feast on the good food.

For the uninitiated, corkage is free in all their restaurants - Farm 2 Plate, Mehta, Le Sense and Uovo Asador. One can actually cross order the foods from each and every restaurant if you're in the mood to try something different.

Each time I come here... I will definitely order their 1) famous iberico pork (this time it was their tender pork jowl), 2) teppanyaki chicken (crispy skin and tender juicy meat), and 3) salad.

One of the worst experience we had in a very long time. The laddy who served us was very rude. When we arrived and asked for a menu, she gave us an annoyed face and pretty much things went worse after that. Food quality was horrible and price were unreasonable. It was just full of disappointment. We waited 30 -45 minutes for our dessert. The add on carbonara wasn't cooked at all. We were waiting to raise this problem to the laddy who served us but she was nowhere to be seen. Price shouldn't be a problem if we received fine dining services but the thing is we were only charged fine dining prices but recieved hawker stall quality. We probably won't come...

This place is way overated. Some kind of japanese prawn was so bland. Hokkaido scallops were small and that's why they have 2. The Irish duck was not roasted well. Skin was not crispy. Worst of all they gave backbone pieces. Wahyu A5 was too salty. Didn't mention what cut it was. I'm guessing it's flank. Definitely not rib eye or sirloin. Flow of the dishes extremely poor.
