My friend and I visited M’Laboori last weekend. The cafe had a nice environment with comfortable seating however service was very poor.
Slow service - We placed our order at 1:08pm and ordered 2 drinks (Chai Latte & Love you 500), 1 Girl Girl Burger and 1 Pad Thai. Drinks took 30 minutes to arrive, while our Pad Thai took 45 minutes and it was dry.
Unhygienic/Wrong Order Received - Our Girl Girl Burger arrived within 5 minutes upon seating, before our drinks did, I was surprised at how quickly I received it, but it was cold and had a strand of hair stuck in it (Photo as attached). I informed the staff, and she said that she will change a new one for me but what she served me after that was the EXACT same plate of burger from before as it looked identical to the photo I have taken and it was cold - only with the strand of hair removed. 20 minutes later, the staff returned with a new Burger but it was the Boy Boy Burger, which wasn’t what I ordered. After informing the staff again, I finally received a new Girl Girl Burger. It was cold but I ate it anyway as I was already very hungry by then.
I have since reached out to M’laboori’s Instagram page via DM regarding this matter, but received no response even after 3 days + following up, while they were updating their Instagram stories regularly. Would appreciate if the M’Laboori team could look into this consumer enquiry as it was a very disappointing experience that my friend and I have encountered.
Overall, we enjoyed our drinks however it was not worth the long wait. It is a nice, peaceful cafe to chill at with a good read, but I would not...
Read moreThe reviews are misleading. I usually go to places based on the reviews given and my experience here has been the worst ever. I say this not because I want complain about the smallest things. It’s because:
Drinks itself took an hour to come. The place was really really really hot and there’s no ventilation. I waited close to 2 hours for my food to come. If I hadn’t paid, I would’ve left after 45 mins. After waiting for 1.5 hours, I got so hungry I felt like fainting, I had to go to the KK mart and grab a bun. The food was okay, definitely not something I’d wait for.
I think the owner of this place should fix their ordering system. The waiters are having such a tough time getting the orders right. They came to my table to ask me for my order at least 4 times and I didn’t even get what I want. Honestly if I was a staff there, I’d run the first chance I get. I don’t even think the waiters had the chance to have a quick bite.
I hope this is not how it is everyday. All I can say is, fix it before you lose customers.
This place is definitely a huge huge...
Read moreI sit here, forlorn, as my stomach bloats, resembling the closest gas giant. It has been 90 minutes, and I nurse my cup of room temperature drink. If it hadn't been room temperature when we got it, it would've been by now. Two waiters have each checked what we ordered for the fourth time, everytime seemingly surprised that their advertised main course was actually in the menu. "Mee, beehun or kueyteow?", I hadn't realised the rhetorical nature of the question, because although the two of us picked different things we got the same thing, mee+beehun.
My face glistened with sweat. Ideally it would've been from the hot steamy mee curry we ordered, alas, it was but from poor ventilation and mounting frustration.
90 minutes. It was the time it took for the entire nation of Brasil to live through the emotional rollercoaster of being massacred at their own national sport. It was also the time it took for M'laboori to assemble two bowls of curry mee.
