Marrybrown has turned from the preferred choice to the last choice.

1. downsize of fish fillet burger. this was my all time favorite at marrybrown. Spotted it at the menu over the counter. Ordered and was told the shape has changed but everything remained the same. However I'm surprised by its size when served. What wasn't told to me was the size. It now shrinks to half of its original size. Marrybrown should have updated the menu and photo over the counter. Showing the old photo of the big and long fish fillet burger is deceiving. Very unhappy about it.
2. force the customer to upgrade the drink to milo due to carbonated drinks were out of gas. I refused to upgrade and stood firm that marrybrown should offered alternate without customer paying extra. Argued for 2 mins and finally the cashier told me I can choose a hot drink except Milo.
3. slow kitchen and long waiting time for food. There were 2 orders before me and I waited for 30 mins for my food. Reason being it's shorthanded. 1 person manning cashier and 1 person manning the kitchen. The entire outlet was manned by 2 persons only? Planning to close shop?
4. hygiene is a big concern. There wasn't anyone cleaning the table and left over food on the table. Tried to clear and clean 1 table so that I can dine in. The cashier spotted it and asked me to bring the tray and left over food to the tray station as if I'm working there. Very soon I regretted my decision to dine in. Don’t ever try to fix your cravings with Marrybrown at Citta Mall! Worst service worst food ever!

We first ordered a nasi lemak ayam and cheesy burger, both combo on top of two pcs chicken. We then decided to get cheesy burger alacarte so we told the cashier to modify it, but we were told that it’s already in the system so we just accept it without making the changes. The bill ended up with RM51.80 we questioned why and got to know there’s extra pcs of chicken being ordered. We refused to proceed because we already accept for the combo earlier why do we still need this extra pcs of chicken paid? The manager then came and told us her card access cannot modify or void the purchase, we were both mad because we haven’t even pay, we can actually just walk out of the store. The manager then said what she can do is only to shut the system off and restart the order. Derrrr, do I care? Please just restart and correct my order back.

So we ended with one nasi lemak combo, one alacarte burger and 2 pcs of chicken. Btw, for two pcs chicken you can only get one thigh/breast by your choice and the another one must be drumstick/wing. No t&c stated in...

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience today left me truly disappointed. When I entered the shop, there was a staff member standing behind the counter chatting with (what seemed like) a friend or guest. She only moved when she saw me walk in—but even then, she let me stand there waiting without greeting or acknowledging me. Eventually, she asked her friend to take my order instead. No one apologized for making me wait.

I ordered a bubur, and it took over 10 minutes to arrive. The wait wasn’t the only issue—the entire experience lacked basic courtesy and professionalism. When my order was ready, they simply called out the number and left it there. No warmth, no smile, no sense of hospitality.

What’s most disappointing is that it seems like there’s no effort from this company to improve. With so many other places offering similar food, customer service is the one thing that can set you apart. Sadly, this branch failed at that completely.
