The team decided to have a buka puasa dinner and we chose this place due to the glowing(paid?) reviews on Google and its close proximity to our office. Upon arriving we went to choose our soup at the counter and was swiftly delivered HOWEVER the star of the day which happens to be the meat slices were NOT served! Only one person receive it among the four of us on our table despite repeated calls to the waiters throughout our dining period there amounting to 2 hours, what Blasphemy is this?? It doesn’t end there, since its Ramadhan the crowd was larger than usual, the food served at the bar were not appropriately replenished as well! seafood items like shrimps and squids, fried wantons, nuggets If u thought that was the end of our bad exp, its NOT in fact our nightmare had just started! While cooking with whatever scrubs of food we could scrape off the bar, we were hit with constant power trips!! We counted no less than 10 TIMES!! Imagine the situation where u are already fed up with the food selection and u CANT even cook them! whilst drenched in sweat since the AC wasn’t working either!! I kid u not, this is by far my WORST hot pot experience 10/10 would not recommend. Only dine at this establishment if u wish to have the worst hotpot experience of ur lifetime.

This shop looks posh but that's because everything is well thought of, the ventilation is great, it's clean and the service is top notch. It's halal btw, so no pork and alcohol served. Wife and i had the affordable lunch set - you need a longer lunch to cook the food, have it cool down and savour it. We each tried a different soup base - mala with numbing szechaun peppercorns and heLthy herbal - double or triple boiled chicken soup which was super yummy. We each got our own personal pots which we could cook our spread of vege and proteins - you get a choice, we went with lamb slices. Condiments and drinks are free flow. The red date drink and barley water are nice. Air conditioning was perfect with the heat from the pots. No sweaty feeling even at the end of the meal. That's comfort. You assemble chopsticks extensions which are disposable and tuck in. A wet plush towel is provided for comfort. Service is attentive. No dancing or singing waiters here though. No frills. They have a large tables screened away for events. Highly recommended.

1. Food: Plenty of selection, and the overall taste is okay. However, the handling of sliced meat was concerning—cutting in front of customers without ensuring cleanliness. When orders were placed, staff shouted across the floor, which felt unprofessional compared to establishments like Sukiya. 2. Cleanliness: Needs significant improvement. The floor was oily and slippery, posing a safety hazard. Utensils at food stations were poorly organized, with tongs for meat mixed with seafood. Plates were not drained properly before being placed on the shelf. 3. Staff: Handling practices were below standard. Masks were not worn properly while preparing food, which was visible from the dining area. Staff were seen preparing ice cream near the food station, which should ideally be done in the kitchen for hygiene reasons. Overall: There’s a lot of room for improvement in cleanliness, professionalism, and staff training. The only advantage over Sukiya was the availability of a grilled section, but other aspects fell short of expectations.

1st time I came here I made a booking and when I arrived at the outlet the staff said that they miscommunication with walked-in customer and can't do anything as the outlet had full and we only ate in the car as already buka puasa timing.

So I came for the 2nd time last Friday, my friends and I were here, and we spent almost RM500.

Initially, when we wanted to order the marinated dish, the staff informed us that they were out of beef marinated due to stock shortage, and only lamb and chicken were available.

However, after half an hour when we attempted to reorder, we were told that the lamb had also run out, leaving only chicken and beef. We questioned why they initially claimed they only had lamb and chicken, but the staff merely responded with a fake smile, try to hide the deception.

and we booked for 7pax and 1 of our members was stuck in jammed and arrived around 8pm. Surprisingly, the staff claimed that all marinated beef and lamb had been finished, yet they insisted the late arrival pay the same price as everyone else.

When we confronted the staff about this inconsistency, they quickly brought out the marinated beef within minutes. What were they trying to hide with this sudden change? They gave us the voucher which is not acceptable cause had a minimum order and validation date.

THIS EXPERIENCE WAS UNACCEPTABLE AND NOT...
