McDonald's PKNS PJ DT — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

You are better off getting your McDonald's order at PJ Old Town instead of this place. I will list down why:

VERY SLOW SERVICE: even when there's only you and another customer waiting. And yes, there is no one at the drive-through at the time, too. This extends to the drive-through, actually. Despite them prioritising the drive-through orders, they still manage to have a long queue of cars waiting for their food (not waiting to order, but waiting their FOOD), which causes problems for non-customers to navigate their way out of the drive-through.

DON'T KEEP TRACK ORDERS: I've been here plenty of times, and if it's not me, then another customer will always either not get their order despite already paying or get the wrong order. I noticed that the monitor showing customer's orders are cleared quickly despite no customers receiving any of their orders yet. I understand you want to keep up with the KPI, but to LIE to the system and cause them to be UNABLE TO TRACK ORDERS is a huge problem.

DRINKS: the drinks are ALL prepared in the kitchen, the McCafe counter is just for show. All of them taste bland. The latte? Yes, it was premixed when I receive it, they don't make it by order like every other McCafe. Additionally, even the soft drinks and Milo taste very bland - I've already made a comparison with a different McDonald's.

FOOD: The food is subpar and although you may argue what would I expect from a fast food joint, however, I made a comparison with two different McDonald's and unfortunately, this branch's food is VERY below the average. Do not order from here.

STAFF ATTITUDE: The staff here are either rude, dismissive or will laugh at customers if they have a request - I once asked a different part of the chicken and I could hear them laughing at me as if I'm acting like a diva even though I did tell them if there's none of that part, that's fine. At the same time, a child asked them for tissue and they dismissed him until I had to ask the tissues for him. Clearly, the staff here need to undergo training again.

THE WORST MCD BRANCH EVER! Your rider is very RUDE! Call stating the branch is to far to delivery and request me to make the cancelation. Which in fact in the app under 'order' 'mcdelivery' there is no CANCEL function! we request your rider to make the cancelation. Than the manager contact stating that we are the one that want to cancel the order. I've call the McDonald's customer service they stated there should be no problem for them to make the delivery due to the new McDonald's system every each customer whereabouts can access 3-5 McDonald's branch which the old system can only access 1-3 McDonald's branch. Suddenly the rider contact back stating he will send the order. Upon pick up the rider argue about the old and new McDonald's app. There is also a missing order. WHICH IN FACT THEY ONLY HAVE '1 APP' BUT HAVE '2 DIFFERENT SYSTEM IN THE APP'! THEY REQUEST TO USE THE OLD SYSTEM.

THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD AWARE ALL BRANCH FOR THE PILOT TASTING PHASE FOR THE NEW SYSTEM SO THERE WONT BE ANY MISCOMMUNICATION AND MISINFORMATION!!!

I've never had this type of issue all this while with any other McDonald's Branch expect...

i came for drive through, and didnt order much:

nasi lemak 2 pc ayam, spicy chicken wrap with hasbrown

had to wait 10 minutes at the side of the road for my order

order came, 1 item was missing (chicken wrap with hasbrown)

staff went back to get the wrap. when he brought it back to me, he handed me the packaging that looked like it had been dropped. it was covered in some sauce and looked like someone tried to wipe the sauce off with tissue

when i open the packaging to check the wrap, the wrap itself was gaping open, and the hashbrown was missing

i had to walk back, knock on the delivery window and ask for a new one. they gave a newly made one

fries barely half full, sad

drink also not full (could have just put ice to make it seem full)

asked for NO CHICKEN BREAST on my nasi lemak, they gave chicken breast (not a big issue but any other piece would have been better)

second occasion…

came for drive through, waited 5 mins at the order area because there was no one speaking

prosperity burger had no sauce!!! it was completely dry!
