Tips/Observation: •Plenty of parking provided you are willing to walk.
•For dine in order at counter. If you have person at the table inform them of your table number else they will just look for u later
•!! Important : For dine in, they will reheat for u. Ask them to reduce the time in half. You dont want to dried out/ "crackerised" the pastry.
•At the back, theres window where u can they roll and flip the croissant.
Food: •Nutella Almond Croissant | 2/5 -plenty of toasted almond (from the reheating oven and the initial baking process) -it was reheated too long. Everything is dried out. -Technique is good, tons of layers. Too bad reheated improperly
•Tuna danish | 2/6 Not bad. -Eaten when it a bit cooler help with the texture. Again reheating dried out the shell too much. -Taste a slight sweetness from yhe brushed sugar on the shell
•Strawberry Danish | 2.5/5 -after the first bite immediately noticed that not enough cream. -enough strawberry for the size. -pastry is better than most, survive ye reheating because of the moisture from the cream. Least dried out
•Pain Au Chocolat | 0.5/5 -Super dried out from the reheating. -Too little chocolate filling. Just slightly more than reasonable man toothpaste usage. Terrible.
•Canale Original | 3/5 -I like this. Slightly burn but i like the contrast of alightly hard 'shell' with soft interior. Reminded me of kuih bakar (minus the pandan/screwpine).
•Big breakfast | 3.8/5 -Everything is ok. -plenty of mushroom. -bread is soft, crunchy crust sourdough. -plenty breafast beef strip and breakfast chicken. The breakfast chickeb is smoky. -just plain bake bean in tomato sauce (i think it straight from the tin). -scramble is well cooked. Season just ok.
•Nasi lemak pasta | 1/5 -Dont bother. It not tasty. Utterly disappointment. -Big chicken but lack salt. -Sambal too much tamarind or salty component. -I dont particularly like the vinegar dipped cucumber. -the fried anchovy and peanut is not crispy.
Drink: • Caramel Latte | 2/5 -Just ok. Coffee not strong enough. -Just caramel hint. I think its missing half/full pump of caramel.
TLDR: Only would come for the big breakfast. Rest just meh...

SS4C is undergoing some sort of Renaissance lately. Two row of shoplots separated by a wide road have been occupied by few cafes. Back in the past and even now, I always go for seafood noodle at B&Best (also in the same area) so I would notice new places popping up.
Few doors down from B&Best, Noon Viennoiserie took the whole shoplot (3-level space) and converted it into pastry shop-cum-cafe occupying the ground and first floor.
Second floor opens (christened Rooftop Bar) from 6pm onwards until midnight for the evening crowds to enjoy the food with Kombucha, craft beers, snacks and cakes - in which I will plot a visit there soon to check out.
◾Classic Waffle Benedict RM21.90 - spiced cheddar waffle topped with poached eggs & turkey roll before doused with hollandaise sauce. Never expect to be surprised by the crunchy and savoury cheddar waffle.. the flavour was so prominent that it sent smile to my face. Poached eggs were done perfectly while the hollandaise sauce was golook7 in 4e see ◾Almond croissant RM8.80 - the croissant was topped generously with the crunchy almond. ◾Spicy tuna @ RM8.80 - even their puff pastry was flaky and crunchy.. spicy tuna never failed to deliver. ◾Blueberry Danish RM14.90 - the picky princess picked sweet pastry for breakfast this time, and she whacked everything up. Must be good. Go for Peach or Strawberry Danish if blueberry is not your thing. Their pastries are freshly made everyday and brought out to the display counter from their kitchen at the back. ◾Good coffee, tea and apple juice.
For those who love heavier and heartier breakfast, they also serve pasta (try their Nasi lemak pasta), chicken chop, lamb stew, Pan seared chicken, and their own version of big breakfast.
Apart from the fact that they over-baked the pastry in the oven (the guy was obviously new and inexperienced from my observation), everything was fairly smooth...
Read moreFood, pastries and coffee were great, but the service definitely needs to improve. Servers and cashier doesn't seem to be on the same page of communication.
Arrived to a crowded cashier with a queue. One server came downstairs, greeted us and told us that he would get us a table upstairs. He led us to the waiting bench to sit near the store front. After awhile, the crowd cleared and he didn't return. We asked the cashier and was told that we could straightaway go upstairs, get a table then come down to order. Wanted to order first then only go up since we're down here already. But he said to get a table number(?) first. So we went up, and was surprised there were at least 3 empty, clean tables. The earlier server was already busy doing something else. Took a table, no number whatsoever. Nevermind, went downstairs to order and settled.
We ordered 2 cups of latte, one fresh milk, one oat milk. A lady served us one latte and I asked which milk latte was it. She didn't seem to understand what I was asking and just said it was a latte. Then walked away without answering me. I assumed that she would check with the barista if she didn't know. But later return and still didn't understand my question. It took another server to get confirmation from the barista.
However, credit where credit's due, we did get good service from the cashier while ordering and the kitchen server with our meals. She made sure all our meals had arrived once they were out. Would consider returning if the service is better and standardise movement of customers while waiting for...
