Decided to try out this place when I saw someone shared at IG. I'm very disappointed with their service and attitude. When we arrived, it was ard 625pm but the staff and chef seem like unprepared (but it shouldn't be as their ig profile stated their operation hours start from 6pm, and the shop is located at 2nd floor, there isn't any other shops so when we walk in definitely is the customer who wanted to dine in right?!).
As they didn't greet us, we thought that we can choose any seat preferred and hence to be considerate we sit at the bar seat as other tables were for 4pax & above. After seated, the staff brought the menu to us and while we were browsing, the chef whispered to the staff and mentioned he wanted to keep the seats (where we are sitting) to his customers (or friends, only God knows) with no reservation sign. BTW, the whole place was empty without any customer, and also we felt that the chef was very rude as he can communicate directly with us if he wanted us to move but instead he talked to the staff IN FRONT of us and asked the staff to move us to the next few seats at the bar.
The attitude of the staff and chef made us feel unwelcome and made us feel like we walked into a private event. At the end we decided to leave. More trainings needed to the staff and chef if they want to sustain in...
Read moreThis place shares the same premise as Airplane Mode cafe but operates at night. First impression.. The only 2 menus they depend on is in pieces like a treasure map! Then they tell us the whole place pretty much reserved.. But there was pretty much no one else other than 1 table upon arrival.. OK.. Then throughout the night that table still remains empty and while we asked to be seated as a group, our group had to split into 2 tables..
The food here is just meh with alot of hit and miss. The Grilled Squid is almost like eating dried squid, oden fish cake was too soft like made from too much flour than fishcake.. Then we have the gyozas..is like what am I eating? Seaweed Gyoza??? Looks ntg like menu.. And like no meat... The buta okonomiyaki is like having fancy topping pelleted, koroke is decent.. Only 2 things we ordered turned out good.. Buta Shogayaki and the Karate Chicken. Drinks pretty much self service here due to only 1 staff in charge of taking orders etc.
Definetly first and last time...
Read moreI don’t usually write bad reviews for restaurant but welp here it is. Waited more than half an hour for such mediocre foods. The broth of oden is so so bland, it’s just flat out radish soup that is very very watery, doesn’t even have slightly hint of dashi flavour, even Family Mart does their original oden way way better and cheaper too. Okonomiyaki is not even close to what the actual okonomiyaki supposed to be like- it’s just omelette with a bit of okonomiyaki sauce with hard texture pork, where the heck is the pancake element? The hamburger steak was alright but it’s quite ridiculous to only have so-so patty that costs RM20. I wanted to love this restaurant as I absolutely loved the cozy vibe here but hell no, if only I would...
