We reached the place close to 8pm and was told that they run out of all chicken dishes except pork and seafood. The lady boss recommended pork claypot rice with porklard and keep telling its very good. While ordering halfway, she went off and came back after sometime (what a weird customer service). Nevertheless, We ended up order the lala claypot, pork chop rice for the kids, river fish grilled fish, 1 bowl of lotus root soup and 1 bowl of pork belly soup. The food arrived one by one after almost 25min. The fish is the local fish where we can get for few bucks but they charge rm18 (with 2 small size deep fried salty fish, rice and 3 slices of cucumber). The fish was so salty. Told the lady boss about it and she says must eat with rice. Its not a matter of eating with rice or it. Its is purely salty! Then came the soup. Only 3 slices of pork belly for rm11 and is salty too. Tiny small pork meat in lotus soup. Then came the lala claypot which is ok. Next was the pork chop which is oily to the max and the taste is just ok. Was waiting for the braised pork claypot and getting impatient. At first when we asked, they say, coming. After abt 45mins waiting time in total, we asked again and told them if the food is not ready, we will cancel it. the boss asked the lady boss who took our order, and the boss says we didnt order that dish! Its not in the chit list. The wife didnt even come to apologize. When the boss asked if we still want to order that, we just cant wait to leave the plc. The lady boss dare not even to look at us when we were leaving. Poor poor service, bad food quality and everything is just disorganised. I will not come again (initially thinking to come back for the chic claypot for...

Read moreTried their Claypot Chicken rice and it was pretty good 🍗
The aromatic spices used and sourness from the fish paste made the dish quite rich as it packed quite a lot of flavour and was a bit sweet. The cool breeze at night from the outdoor seating area makes the experience better too as there were also appropriate lights around the area making it not too dark to enjoy the food.
The soup was very good and it is a must add on to pair with the main course. I ordered myself a white carrot soup with oysters and old cucumber soup, from what I have tasted they don't use too much MSG in it so that's good 👍🏻
The staff were friendly and quick when serving and taking our orders but you have to know what you want beforehand as they don't introduce dishes for you to try.
If you're looking for a quick snack around the Kota Damansara area, with outdoor seating and a slightly quiet environment to enjoy the moment then this place is...
