Went there as it was being promoted and glorified by content creators and influencers. It is definitely not as glorious as it seemed.

There were animals on sale (Dogs, cats, small animals, fishes), as expected of a pet store, but the living conditions are not the standard of a proper pet store.

There were hamsters and bunnies in metal cages, and the cages were dirty and rusty! The bunnies looked so uncomfortable and sad in the small, dirty cages and the hamsters cages seemed to be full of their poop, very unhygienic.

There was a cat that was very stressed out and was pacing back and forth, meowing frequently if anyone went near it. It did not stop pacing around even after 30- 40mins (The whole time I was in the store till I left). The cat living area WHICH looked like a box with glass door is very cramped, not enough for cats to stretch and roam around.

An overcrowded gerbil enclosure which house 10+ GERBILS(The ceiling is high for them, but the roaming area is small). The WORSE PART is that there were only 1 small food bowl for all of them to share together, NO WATER and NO RUNNING WHEEL. How is this even acceptable? As a gerbil owner myself, my gerbils living area is much bigger and equipped with all the necessary items. As a pet store yourself, you have all the necessary items but failed to provide your animals with it?

The dogs/ puppies all stayed in similar small box glass door type of cage. They are mostly puppies and small breeds, no large dog and it is clear why: there are literally NO SPACE FOR THEM TO ROAM AROUND, only a peepad for them. All of the dogs/puppies where just sleeping and not active due to the SMALL AREA. One of the puppies took a dump and even after 30 mins, it was still uncleaned even though there were staff walking around.

The fishes were being taken care of aquarium by aquarium when I was there, meanwhile the dogs, cats, and small animals do not have anybody there to supervise them and attend to their needs.

For a pet store, this is a very unethical practise for the animals. All the animals looked really depressed and not treated right. I found this to be a very heartbreaking and cruel sight. Unacceptable.

To those who plans to visit there, PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THE BUSINESS BY PURCHASING ANIMALS OR GOING TO THEIR PETTING ZOO. CHOOSE TO ADOPT OR FOSTER INSTEAD.

I have looked through the reviews and even though the replies for months and months was that they will “improve”, I went there on the last week of Dec 2024 and I did not see any improvement from what have been said in the reviews.

Those animals deserve so...

We went there yesterday. The first thing when u step into the store is the horrendous smell of urine. The employees are not well equipped with certain knowledge regarding the cats and their breeds. Some has fleas and eye infections. The tickets to @JustCats are so expensive that they cant even provide any decent play toy for guests to interact with the cats for 40mins. As u enter the cat enclosure, u will be welcomed by a waft of thick pungent urine smell that u will be left wondering why are there 3 employees sitting here doing nothing about the cleanliness and the wellbeing of the cats. As I walked to wash my hands , i observed a sweet Maine Coon breed sitting by the sink, and not long when I open the tap, it rushed to drink the water that flow out. Its thirsty as hell and the employee knock on the window signalling me to stop giving the tap water. Maine Coons natural instinct is to have a clean constant flow of water as they are one of the wild, exotic breeds that enjoys the outdoor. Now we made our way to @JustFarm. The most traumatizing moment happen in the bird enclosure where it literally stated max people are 4 pax. The employee let in another family of 3 into the small space and with an agitated boy that was scared of bird he reflexsively step on one of the love birds! U can hear the crunchy sound before the bird went limp and died. The "responsible father" just told him by asking "why did u step when u know u shoukd just stand." Is that all?! The employee just took the bird , wash it in a cold water and left it by the desk away from our concerned eyes. He didnt take any action to tell the family to leave the enclosure but instead just pour food for the birds to swarm that family's hands while giggling excitedly after killing a bird at the expense. I will report all these employees behaviors to the upper management. Its unacceptable, unethical and inhumane treatment these poor creatures are...

I recently visited a pets shop and I must say it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who were more than willing to assist me with all of my pet-related needs. The shop was well-organized and clean, making it easy to navigate through the wide array of pet supplies and accessories they had available.

What impressed me the most was the impeccable care they showed towards the animals in their store. The pets were all healthy, happy, and clearly well-taken care of. It was evident that the staff took great pride in ensuring the well-being of every furry friend under their care.

The shop also had a great variety of pets for sale, ranging from adorable puppies and kittens to small mammals and birds. It was heartwarming to see how well socialized and friendly the animals were, a testament to the excellent care they received while at the shop.

Additionally, the pets shop had a range of high-quality pet food and treats, ensuring that customers have access to the best options for their beloved companions. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the different brands and ingredients, making it easy to find the perfect food for my pet's specific needs.

Overall, my experience at this pets shop was nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend it to any pet owner or animal enthusiast. The friendly staff, well-cared-for animals, and extensive selection of pet supplies make it a top-notch destination for all your...

Our preschool visited this place about a month ago and what an eye-opening, educational experience we had (for our students and our teachers)! It's not every day that any ordinary person gets to be up-close to so many animals at once, not to mention a variety of animals all in one place! The highlights from this outing were: - being able to feed, touch, and carry the various animals - getting to see the capybaras, alpacas, guinea pigs, and the cats - Some of our students were fascinated by the various reptiles, too - We went for the package that included an art-&-craft session and our children loved that slot! We are thankful to have liaise with Ms. Nico (the P.I.C. of the Just Farm event team). She was really efficient, detailed and helpful while we finalized the school package for our field trip. We are also thankful to have met Ms. Sam (who stood in for Nico on the event day), and Mr. Sultan (our tour guide)! Both of them were very patient, pleasant and helpful. Mr. Sultan was also very knowledgeable and his explanations of the different animals made our children excited to go up-close. The only downside to having a field trip at this place is that the field-trip package had to be paid in full before the event day (if there are any unforeseen absentees, the fees are non-refundable).

Petting farms/zoos are the new revenue generators for pet stores and exotica breeders. Most are pretty well run. This one is exemplary in that it has the biggest space per sq m I have seen in any such facility in KL, meaning animals have the choice to move away and not interact which is very important for their well being. The handlers are warm and gentle, though not all were well versed with the animals they cared for. Some staff had only been there a few weeks. Still, animals were well cared for, and enclosures clean even if the miniature horses were wary and had ears pinned back. It’s a rather small place which is easily covered in under an hour if visitors don’t stop to interact with the guinea pigs, Flemish giant rabbits, abd prairie dogs. Animal food is rm5 a bucket, and can be fed to the sweet capybaras Do, Re and Mi, the Guinea pigs, goats, sheep or rabbits. Air purifiers run throughout and there are hand washing sinks at most corners. I would have liked to see better seating for both visitors and staff, and perhaps counters where animals can be brought for show and tell. Entry is rm68 per adult. Not really worth it for the number of animal interactions but I gladly pay it if it means staff who love animals get a chance to learn on the job at a fair wage.

Initially, the plan was to buy cat food for my cat at the JustPets megastore and then I realised they have an indoor petting zoo, and safe to say, all plans were cancelled 😂 The petting zoo is separated to three sections: Farm (variety of animals), Cat (just cats) and Dog (just dogs). One may purchase individual tickets for the respective ‘zoos’ but I bought the individual yearly pass which allows me to access all three unlimited for a year! (Prices in photo) What a deal and cheaper than therapy. Ok so when I went in to the main petting zoo, at first it was like meerkats, then there were alpacas and Capybara!! They look well-groomed and the place doesn’t look too cramped and they were clean (I went twice on the same day from my excitement 1. At 12pm and 2. At 5pm!). SHOUT OUT to Aakass, an awesome Nepali worker, for assuring me that the animals don’t bite and showed me how he handles each one of them and shared a lot about the animals with me. I could sense his joy sharing the characteristics of each animal and his love taking care of these animals. I could spend many hours here, alone. Tip: I was told to avoid weekends as the crowd would be quite insane with sprawling kids everywhere. Go weekdays, or go early.
