It's located at an highly accessible and concentrated centre, where you can go by MRT or simply just drive there and park in the mall.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly staff and be seated comfortably. The salon is really not those "atas" type, where some may feel pressured being in there or otherwise. I've been asked which stylist am I seeing and if I've made any bookings. Instantly, I asked for non the other my favourite stylist - Joanne.

I've known the stylist for or not more than 20 years now. It's been on and off seeing her working at different salons and doing some other businesses. But I'm glad she's back in the business again. She's the only one by far able to cut and style my hair at best, since I have 2 hair swirls on head - back & front.

I was served with a cup of tea and cookie after sitting down. I handed my head to my stylist with no fret at all, to do her magic. Just as how I trusted her all these years. Once the haircut is done, the shampoo girl took over to wash away all the loose hair and gave a good, relaxing head massage too. After the wash, there was final touch on the hair by the stylist. The entire experience was absolutely amazing with no regrets and the haircut turns out, needless to say, is how I wanted it.

Prior booking is highly recommended as I did mine. Surprisingly, on a normal weekday, there seems to be quite a bit of customers coming by. Hence, walk-in can be a little tricky.

First of all, a big shoutout to Emily for the amazing hair wash and massage—probably the best I’ve ever experienced. I would honestly return to Hairover just for that. Yes, for the hair wash.

Emily was also incredibly detailed and conscientious in handling my hair throughout the treatment process. ☺️🤍

I initially went in for a hair treatment session, planning to do the 4-step treatment based on an online recommendation. However, since my recently permed hair felt very dry and stiff, CS recommended the Fusiol Dose Booster treatment instead. He explained that it was a stronger option with longer-lasting effects, involving a cold/freeze process to lock in moisture. It was RM100 more expensive than the 4-step treatment, but I decided to go for it, hoping for better results.

While waiting, I looked up “Fusiol Dose Booster” on my phone and found that it’s typically a customized spray applied on the hair, replacing the hair mask. This was different from the detailed process they had described to me, so I felt a bit confused.

The actual treatment started with a thorough hair wash, followed by the application of a hair mask in sections covering every strand. Then, a cryotherapy machine—like an ice-cold straightener—was used to “freeze” my hair in sections before washing it out and blow-drying.

However, I don’t think the customized spray mentioned in my research was applied—or if it was, it wasn’t communicated clearly. This made the treatment name on the price list feel slightly misleading.

Was recommended by a friend to visit hairover as I wanted a wash and hair treatment. Upon consultation with Daphne, she advised that I go for scalp detox and a 4 step hair treatment instead as my hair follicles was pretty congested and scalp was oily upon looking at the scalp analysis. She also said that healthier scalp will lead to healthier hair which made sense. At the same time my scalp has also been pretty itchy lately like I have kutu, so I decided to go ahead. She explained the steps very well and the things which she'll be applying to my hair and scalp. She then passed the rest of the treatment to her colleague and oh my goodness, the hair wash+scalp massage was so good and detailed! There was even a bonus neck and shoulder massage which I felt was better than going to Thai Odyssey. Daphne then did another analysis to look at the before/after and the hair follicles really does look cleaner and scalp looking so much better. Before that it looked like a have a layer of vaseline applied to my scalp.

The team really works hard in ensuring guaranteed customer satisfaction. I left the salon feeling so much better, fresher and itchiness has reduced. Keep it up and I hope you keep up with the quality of service and reward your staffs where it's due to maintain their motivation.

Price wise, reasonable and you even get a cuppa Lipton tea and a packet of biscuit as snack. Not hup seng biscuit ok! It's more atas than that.
