The BBP — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

The food here is lousy and the service is poor. I’ve been here quite a few times and finally given up. This place has potential, but is a constant disappointment.

Common issue include: beers taking forever to arrive (30 minutes) no glasses (yes, a bar without glasses, but if you are lucky they’ll bring you a plastic cup eventually) food taking forever and being so greasy it makes you feel sick burgers with meat that isn’t meat (kind of like dough and sawdust)

At the end they won’t let you pay with a VISA debit card, they take a VISA credit, but not a VISA debit. Why? No reason, it seems they just want to make your life as difficult as possible!

Just save your time and money and don’t go near the BiG Black Hole, there’s plenty of other better...

The BBP simply is the Best Bar in PJ. It's a place where everyone knows your name. The food and service is fantastic, they are dog friendly, and host buskers on weekends. My favourite thing to order is The One Hot Chick - the drama of the flaming dish is a crowd pleaser and the chicken is perfect every time. If you like a nice colder beer, you'll like it double here - on top of the regular choices they offer craft beers at a reasonable price compared to their competitors. Came back again today. Service has significantly decreased since the last time. Our waiter seemed not to understand what we were ordering, food did not come at the same time despite ordering the exact same dish. Missing side dishes as well.

Quite disappointed this time around when my first time here was good. Consistency in service needs to be worked on.

Excellent food and excellent service from the waiters. Even the trainees were very alert and kept checking back the service at our table.
