Co-labs Coworking - IOI Mall Damansara — Local services in Petaling Jaya

A co-working space with friendly staff, a place where you can actually focus on working, reasonably priced and strategically located in a mall where you can spend your whole day comfortably.

Staff: I was greeted by Hani during my first visit, she's very friendly and helpful, she also gave me a little tour of the spaces during my first visit.

Space: • I was using the daily pass. I feel like there aren't many Flexi Desks in their main working area, but there are plenty of spaces in the member's lounge, where people usually come in for lunch. • There isn't much bright sunlight if you're planning on getting the perfect lighting for your video calls, since there are no windows that's getting direct sunlight, I personally prefer having bright natural sunlight for my video calls and while I'm working, but it's not that much of an issue as I'm not working here every day. • The mall bathroom is decent, and there are plenty of stalls, though the walking distance to the bathroom is slightly longer than the other co-working spaces I've been to, not an issue for me as a clean bathroom is more important to me than anything else. • It's pretty interesting that they have a nap pod, haven't tried it before but I think it's kind of cool! • Since they have member's lounge where people would go for lunch, the working area is not noisy like those co-working spaces that have an in-house cafe which usually filled with the noise of the barista making beverages with the machines. I was able to focus on my work there, which is nice. • They also have quiet pods which you can book and work in the pods on your own if you need some focus time. • Since it's located within a mall, you don't need to register for a visitor's pass like the other ones that are located in an office building. • So far the AC's temperature has been okay for me, not too cold, not too hot.

The area: I absolutely love the area as it's a mall with plenty of shops, restaurants, and entertainment where I can spend my entire day there.

Getting here: • Super convenient to get here through MRT Surian station • Grab: It's pretty convenient to get here through Grab, BUT if you're leaving the mall through Grab, make sure you select the right pickup point and communicate with your driver about it, as a lot of drivers are confused about the ground floor and the concourse level pickup point. • Parking spots might be limited...

I've been a tenant at Co-labs Coworking @ IOI Damansara for a while now, and I just want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for two truly outstanding individuals — Nabil and Hani at the front desk.

Every single day, they greet us with genuine warmth, bright smiles, and the kind of hospitality that really sets the tone for the whole space. It’s not just about being helpful or professional (which they absolutely are), but they go above and beyond to make every member feel welcomed, seen, and appreciated.

Their consistent kindness, attentiveness, and positive energy have added so much value to my working experience here. Whether it’s assisting with small requests, remembering names, or simply offering a cheerful "good morning," Nabil and Hani embody what a great community team should be.

A big thank you to both of you — your presence makes a real difference, and I believe many tenants here would agree....

I always enjoyed the activities hosted by Colabs. They always put a lot of thoughts in the process because I feel that from the successful event.

Recently, I joined a Bingo Goal setting event hosted by Aina. I really like her personality a lot, She is very bubbly and jovial all the time.

It was conducted in the LabHall, spacious and conducive. I like that she illustrated the event agenda with the projector, with some light music. Overall, very relaxing. ⁠

Aina was always present, with a quick introduction and encouraging everyone to have a quick round of ice breaking as well has helped in breaking the silence.

She has prepared all the materials needed, and a sample for us to refer. It was so helpful. I am looking forward to more events...
