The Chicken Rice Shop The Curve — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

I would like to make an official complaint about the branch manager of this outlet. We brought in about six kids and six adults to celebrate a birthday on 13 September at 7:30 p.m. Naturally, kids make some noise, and it’s not always easy to keep them completely quiet. Besides, this is a restaurant, and there were only a few other customers at the time.

However, the manager kept making unpleasant faces as the kids walked around to get food, as if he expected them to sit silently and remain glued to their chairs. I understand if things were extremely noisy, but they were not. What truly upset me was when I saw him directly telling one of our kids to “shoo” just because the child called another by name in a normal tone to go wash hands.

If you have kids or are planning a gathering, I would strongly advise against coming to this outlet. Something is clearly not right with this manager, and his behavior was unacceptable. It was very upsetting to see how he treated our children, constantly staring at them the moment they moved. We didn’t cut the cake in the outlet as we felt like he wanted us to leave. I'm sorry guys I'm talking about The chicken rice shop Kota Damansara inside Hypermarket Giant and I really don't know how it ended up here my greatest apologies for the technical mistake done not by me but some how every time I attempt to post the review on their page it doesn't appear like somebody has manipulated the system.

The chicken rice shop Giant Kota Damansara does not have good customer service. The quality of chicken be it steam chicken or roasted aren't fresh and there were times the chicken had blood meaning it wasn't cook and even the rice isn't like the chicken rice that me and my family used to know. If you are a regular, try eating the same at The chicken rice shop at Jaya shopping center Petaling Jaya the new branch and compare them for yourself. Had a couple of unpleasant experiences here.

The Rojak buah served was prepared differently on 2 separate occasions. Highlighted this to the manager/supervisor who seemed incompetent. He spoke to us in a cluttering and garbled manner which we couldn't understand and ignored.

On another occasion we encountered 3 small cockroaches, 1 on the floor and 2 on our table! Spoke to the same guy above. He said the place had just gone through pest spraying and it is expected.

The chicken served was cold...not room temperature but like it just came out from the refrigerator. Saw the manager/supervisor who was on his mobile walking towards us. Signalled to him with positive eye contact. He then just sat down next to our table and continued his Tele conversation. Called upon a waiter and he was kind enough to assist and reheat the chicken dish.

Overall not good...
