I had the pleasure of dining at Nippon Sushi, located at Ayer 8 in Putrajaya. As its name suggests, this charming restaurant offers a wide variety of Japanese cuisine. Upon entering, I immediately noticed that the establishment was not overly crowded, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.
One of the standout features of Nippon Sushi is its stunning view of the lake. The picturesque scenery provided a soothing backdrop to my meal, creating a tranquil ambiance that enhanced my overall dining experience.
I decided to try the yakiniku jyu and the flossy salmon skin, both of which I highly recommend. The yakiniku jyu was a delicious and hearty dish, filled with perfectly cooked meats and accompanied by flavorful sauces. The flossy salmon skin, on the other hand, was a delightful appetizer that offered a unique texture and a burst of flavor. These dishes showcased the restaurant's dedication to quality and authenticity.
While Nippon Sushi also offers sushi served on a rail, I found that the taste did not quite match up to that of Sushi Zanmai, a well-known sushi chain. However, considering the overall experience and the variety of other delectable dishes available, this slight shortfall can easily be overlooked.
One aspect that particularly stood out to me was the affordability of the menu. The prices at Nippon Sushi are reasonable and well worth the quality of the food. It is undoubtedly a great choice for those seeking a satisfying Japanese meal without breaking the bank.
Another notable aspect of Nippon Sushi is its child-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant provides a welcoming environment for families, making it a suitable choice for a casual outing with your little ones.
However, it's worth noting that parking can be a bit challenging at times. The limited parking spaces may require you to find a spot in the basement parking lot, which can be a minor inconvenience. Nonetheless, it's a small drawback when compared to the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, Nippon Sushi at Ayer 8 in Putrajaya offers a delightful Japanese culinary experience with its diverse menu, reasonable prices, and serene lake view. While the sushi might not be on par with more renowned establishments, the restaurant's other offerings more than make up for it. If you're looking for a satisfying and affordable Japanese dining experience, Nippon Sushi is definitely...
Read moreThis has become my go-to sushi spot, and for good reason. The outlet is clean, airy, and refreshingly. No fishy scent and better than the other well-known sushi chains.
The drinks hit the right note every time, perfectly suiting my taste. The sashimi? Simply superb—fresh and beautifully sliced. The udon with seaweed is equally delightful, offering comfort in a bowl.
The ambience deserves a mention too. A wall-sized mural featuring Japan’s serene landscape, complete with a snowy Mount Fuji which gives the place a calming, almost cooling effect. It’s like a brief escape to Japan without the airfare.
And let’s not forget the team. The cashier, waiters, and waitresses are consistently attentive and friendly, offering impeccable service, helpful without interrupting your sushi moment.
All in all, it’s a gem of a place, quietly outshining the big names with quality, charm, and a surprisingly chill Mount Fuji watching...
Read moreMy second time here. I have always enjoyed Nippon Sushi via delivery but now that my husband enjoys it too, we can frequent the restaurant. :)
It is awesome that it is Halal certified and offers good quality Japanese food. Yay! This is the nearest to Cyberjaya so we have to settle with this outlet for Nippon Sushi.
Price and portion is also good. No long waiting time. Clean and efficient. Food presentation is fine too.
They have serving wares and utensils for kids too so do ask for it if you need any.
Menu could be not updated so if you see something you like shown as out of stock, just ask the waiter. ;)
Parking right outside the door is impossible to get as there are many other restaurants there too but there are ample spaces in the basement. The only drawback is that you may lose your appetite going through the carpark, path, walkway and stairs. It is unfortunate that the building...
