I recently had the pleasure of dining at KK Garden Seafood Restaurant, and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. Nestled in a charming location, the restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance that immediately sets the tone for a delightful meal. The decor is tasteful with subtle nautical themes, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. The menu is a seafood lover’s paradise, boasting an impressive array of fresh catches prepared in various styles to suit different palates. I started with the seafood chowder, a hearty bowl brimming with flavors of the sea and a creamy consistency that was just right. For the main course, the grilled snapper with lemon butter sauce was a standout. Cooked to perfection, the fish was tender and flavorful, complemented beautifully by the tangy sauce. What truly sets KK Garden apart is their exceptional service. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, readily offering recommendations and ensuring that all dietary preferences are accommodated. The wine list is extensive, featuring selections that pair wonderfully with the seafood offerings. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and freshness of the food, making it excellent value for money. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a seafood feast, KK Garden Seafood Restaurant delivers an outstanding dining experience. I left with a satisfied palate and a desire to return soon to explore more of their delectable menu.

My first time here (outdoor with fan but I choose to dine indoor with aircon) and there are too many foods that we both wish to try so we ordered too much haha, we pick 6 dishes (paired with recommended sauce to cook with the main dishes; can check out the name on each picture) we order what we want without asking the price per KG (seasonal price but information is available upon asking)...going YOLO but when each dish is served and each one of it exceed our expectation except for the salted egg sotong which is very greasy. The bill did shock me a little but it is all worth the money xD around RM480 T.T but all the seafood are so fresh and delicious, by far the best one I had in my life haha. Not really sure how does it compare to market price but I feel it should be either around the same or cheaper than KL/KK. My only advise is, feel free to ask the price per KG and the estimated portion/weight to be serve so you can plan better what to order without any surprise towards the end when you are presented with the bill xD *we keep compliment how good is each dish while devouring it, leave with happy tummy and a thinner wallet HAHA* Recommended for sure and no regrets! Will come back again for sure, hope to try their lobster in the next round ;)

The lousiest service I've ever received. Called for a menu about 5 times and was ignored by all the waiters. Managed to get a menu, and some person called the "captain" wearing white came to my table, snatched the menu from my hands and gave it to another customer. That customer was so embarrassed, he apologised to me. Never got an apology from the staff called the captain. I was not the only one frustrated with their service, many were frustrated with this captain. I highly recommend staying away from this lousy restaurant. All the waiters are stuck up and lazy to do their job. I was ignored countless times when trying to order. When I finally managed to get one waiter to ask for an order, she sighed like I was asking her for money. She then ignored me and never came back. Another waitress, I managed to hail down, after asking for order, she instead went and got a jug of Chinese tea to serve to another table I will never recommend this place people I hate. That is how bad it is. My 2nd picture shows a bunch of drinks left there by another customer who was fed up and decided to walk away. Better go to another restaurant. There's one adjacent and they're much better. KK Garden Seafood, you need to improve your lousy service Edit after reading the reply (10:17pm, 15/02/24) No other restaurant around had this issue due to the festivities, so you cannot use that as an excuse. Suang Tain was efficient with no hiccups at all, even during the "festive season". They are right next to you. The service at your restaurant is abysmal - just accept that. I will never come back to your restaurant, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone. I will direct them to better restaurants with better service. When interviewing your waiters, you must probably train them to say "sekajap ah" and walk away, only to serve the large tables, and ignore the smaller tables. I was there with my mother who has difficulty walking (OKU). Your waiters didn't even pause to give her way to move, they cut her off several times as well. The people of Sabah are generally friendly and polite, but I now know where to find the rudest people - at KK Garden Seafood Restaurant

We ordered the egg fried rice (medium), dried butter river prawn, salted egg fried squid and the lemon chicken. All dishes were served fast while we were entertained by interactive traditional performances and it all tasted amazing. The egg fried rice had good wok hei, the squid was tender not overcooked and chewy like we have had in other Chinese restaurants. The portions were big for two pax but we were able to pack the remaining food at no additional charge. The waiter was also very helpful at recommending popular and tasty dishes. However, the lemon chicken had nothing special about it, the lemon taste wasn’t strong enough although the quantity was good for two. It has good ventilation despite being outdoors with plenty of tables. We went during the weekdays so it was not packed at all. The vicinity offers a number of parking and we were lucky to park right in front of the restaurant. For the portions offered, waiting time for the food, ease of locating the restaurant and most importantly the taste of food, the price is pretty reasonable. Would love to revisit in the future!

To whoever wishes to eat here, please read my review about them. To KK Garden Seafood management. 1st. I ordered a bottle of beer but it never arrived even though I patiently repeated my order. 2nd. Siakap fish's stomach isn't clean properly, found a rotten squid in the fish while eating it and the meat is drenched in squid ink. 3rd. King lobster (1.58kg @RM538 per kg) that I ordered cost me RM839, your "chef" messed up the cooking method and it was overcooked. I just wanted to enjoy dinner with my family but you made my night miserable. If only you had apologized then I wouldn't have given this kind of review. But in the end I did not receive a single apology, I still paid for full price and left the restaurant in disappointment and regrets. I will never come here to eat again TQ.....
