As a frequent visitor, I can say that it never fails to impress. The quality of the food remains consistent, ensuring a satisfying dining experience every time for me. Upon my first visit, I immediately noticed that the menu differed from other local restaurants, resembling the flavors of West Malaysia. It was a pleasant surprise to learn from the friendly boss that he hails from Penang, which explains the unique cooking style and menu offerings. The infusion of Penang cuisine adds a distinct and exciting twist to the dining experience. The restaurant offers both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned seating sections, catering to different preferences. If you prefer the comfort of the air-conditioned area, it is advisable to make a reservation in advance, as seating can be limited. This place is incredibly popular, especially during dinner hours, often bustling with a crowd of diners. One more thing is that you can do a membership if you enjoy the food because you will get a member discount on the bill.

Went to Ling Loong at Topspot for the first night but wasn't impressed. A local family suggested BBQ King. It was so good that we went 2 nights in a row. 1st night Fish was excellent and the sauce yummy, drank most of it. Charcoal tofu was novel and pretty nice. The brinjal was unique in taste, not bad and worth a try. The steamed clams are excellent. The pork is a "must try" if you like fatty pork. Total damage for 2, RM190 2nd night. We liked the food so much we returned for another meal. Bamboo clams were excellent, finished the sauce too. Sambal stingray was ok, king vegetables was nice but nothing unique. Fish maw soup was average. Total damage for 2 RM101. All their steam dishes are excellent, go for them !!

Food: Asam sotong & bbq satay indeed are husband and wife as the taukeh said, delicious. Lamb stew, tatse wise slightly above average, meat is tender. Beverage is top, tried their 3 sour beng, rasa cukup. 2nd visit, tried their salted fish pork belly, fried chicken, charcoal tofu and manicai. 5 star, delicious. Fried chicken on par with Pan**** kitchen. 3rd visit, 10 person gathering. Great experience , service was fast, food was superb. Tower drink abit plain. Service: Taukeh very friendly and provide suggestion when you dont know what to order, worker serve with smile. Overall good experience Atmosphere: Bright, Clean and tidy place, can be very crowed sometimes. Recommended to try it out.

Their seafood dishes are absolutely delightful—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The clam soup is a standout, bursting with umami that warms the soul. The steamed fish is cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with subtle, well-balanced flavors. The crispy pork ribs are a real treat, offering a perfect combination of crunch and juiciness. The pork skewers are equally impressive—succulent, juicy, and seasoned just right. The squid served in bamboo is a unique highlight, infused with bold Thai flavors that leave a lasting impression. Even the fried chicken deserves mention, with its crispy golden crust and tender, juicy meat inside.

Prices are reasonable, offering great value for the quality and variety. However, the seating area can get quite packed, so it’s highly recommended to make a reservation beforehand to secure a spot. All in all, this place is a gem for seafood lovers and those who enjoy a mix of...

This is one of our go-to spots for family dinners. The satay pork belly was flavorful, especially with the sambal lime sauce—though if you’re not a pork lover, you might notice a slightly unusual taste in the meat.

The pork ribs were a special item for the night, as they don’t make them often. However, the marinade seemed to use the same sauce as the satay, which made the flavors a bit repetitive. I requested no MSG in the vegetables, but they still contained some.

The bamboo clam was delicious, with a slight tangy, sour note that complemented it well. For drinks, we ordered the Pandan Lemongrass Tower—the jar was said to be enough for five people, but if you’re a “heavy” drinker, you might need a second round, as we did.

Overall, it was...
