Our journey to Sitiawan took an unexpected turn for the delicious when we stumbled upon Summer Windmill Seafood Restaurant. A quick Google Maps and Xiaohongshu (XHS) search led us to this hidden gem nestled on the Kuala Selangor docks.

The sunny weather made the short walk to the restaurant even more enjoyable. The setting itself is quite picturesque, with the docks providing a unique and Instagrammable backdrop.

As self-proclaimed seafood enthusiasts, we couldn't resist indulging in a feast! We opted for a steamed crab for its pure, natural flavors. For a different taste experience, we also tried the hot plate seafood platter. It was a fantastic choice – bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.
A Touch of Green:
Even the biggest seafood fans crave some greenery now and then. We were impressed with the chef's idea of serving potato leaf in a claypot. This not only added a welcome touch of freshness to the meal but also ensured it remained hot throughout our dining experience.

Food ratings: Signature crab - taste is so-so. taste slightly like butter milk but w heavier hint of curry. Remember to order the mantao.
Coconut tomyum prawns - mostly just sour, very light and not heavy in coconut.
Onion style steamed fish - nothing remarkable. Perhaps other flavor might be better.
Dried fried squid - 8/10. Not spicy w blended green chili w lime
Hot plate seafood - a lighter version of tomyum.
Hometown fried siham - very good. Highly recommended if you are a fan of cockles
Special tofu - family loves it.
Scallops steamed w garlic - nothing special.
Overall, food is normal except for the squid and siham. This place is perfect for you if you like your dishes light and not too heavy in flavor.
Service is commendable, the employees are nice and helpful. Do try out their coconut beer if you like an enzyme-liked taste...
