Restoran Seong Yes — Restaurant in Selangor

Our family had an unforgettable dinning experience at Restoran Seong Yes, located next to Kuala selangor river, and merely 50 meters away from the jetty where most tourists catch boats to the firefly sanctuary. This restaurant provides a magnificent view of the sunset.

The fresh seafood is superbly fresh. The succulent mantis shrimp cooked with homemade mayonnaise is out of this world. The fresh prawn cooked in goji berry herb hotpot soup is amazing. Even a simple fried rice dish taste better than any authentic Chinese restaurants.

We have been a regular seafood hunter in Sekinchan. After our experience here, we found that the taste and dishes at Restoran Seong Yes unique. Lastly, the price is relatively cheaper than Sekinchan, and may even be in Kuala Selangor too.

The owner and staff are generally welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended for those coming to Kuala Selangor for the 1st time, or those hardcore...

I went on a public holiday without booking.At first I was politely turned down as they are fully booked and awaiting for 10 parties/tables of customer to arrive. When I expressed I am willing to wait, they allow me to wait while seated with drinks served. We waited for one hour but it is fair because they have told me I have to wait at least 1 hr. Hence they kept their promise. The 上汤苋菜。is really good. Soft and fresh and not too salty for my liking. Salted egg mantis prawn (forgot to take picture) a bit too soggy and not enough salted egg fragrance. Kong po sotong which is not within the menu(because I requested non deep fried cooking style for sotong) is flavourful and sotong is very fresh. The variant in menu is not many but understandable because there is only one chef for this family business. Whole dinner for 2 pax cost less than Rm76 which is very affordable. Wont mind...

Great seafood! Fresh and delicious! We ordered four dishes..Steamed fish, salted egg prawn mantis, fried potato leaves and fried oyster..All were very delicious! Service is good and very reasonable price. The restaurant is by the riverbank, and the view is amazing. There are plenty of parking spaces by the road opposite the restaurant. We came here during Conditional MCO, and it is opened for dine in! But the restaurant followed SOP, you would need to register, scan body temperature and wash your hand with sanitizer hand rub before entering, and also social distancing with regards to table arrangement. This restaurant is not along the main street of Pasir Penambamg..You can access here by turning in a small road beside...
